The reality is even if qualified they get rejected at a disproportionally higher rate, and as previously stated businesses and colleges were given the opportunity to hire based on merit, and proved they couldn't be trusted to do that.

Why is it that we never focus on the rich who pay their way in or get in through legacy admission because their father or mother went there. As for why poc fall behind in specific areas such as education, that’s because the way educational funds are dispersed ensure that poverty stricken areas do not get the same education as schools in predominantly white areas that tend to have a higher income.
