I thought Pay Links was the lnurlp extension? I'm not sure I know where to go if that's not the right spot. It generates an LNURL for me but just doesn't generate the lnurl-pay link so this makes sense I'm missing a part here.
Couldn't you do the same by setting up a profile and setting your relays to only use a local relay like Citrine?

That will make it so any received zaps get published by the node to your nostr relays. I had it enabled too but it shouldn't have anything to do with this problem though I admittedly don't have a clue why it's not working.
I can create an address inside the Paylinks extension but it never creates a .well-known to go with it. I have patrick@lnbits.sats.love setup right now but https://lnbits.sats.love/.well-known/lnurlp/patrick doesn't show the user.
Giving up on getting lnbits to play nicely with lightning address for the moment and going back to using BTCPay
While on the base I agree with you that it doesn't grow nostr. It does however create a social void for that user that will then likely be filled by nostr exclusively instead of Twitter which will grow the platform. Additionally if that user had any reach to other users outside of nostr their exclusivity to the protocol will grow the reach nostr has.
