True, you don't find this stuff in shitcoin circles. The ATM I built is based on 2 other well developed projects, took 3d files and inspiration from the 21isenough Pocket ATM https://github.com/21isenough/LightningATM
and the offline cryptography from nostr:npub1c878wu04lfqcl5avfy3p5x83ndpvedaxv0dg7pxthakq3jqdyzcs2n8avm / Stepan Snigirev / LNBits @ https://github.com/lnbits/fossa
Built an offline Lightning ATM powered by an esp32 over the last weekends

My best investment in 2023:

Sounds like a problem with the immobilizer
Lightning is more trustless and permissionless but you have to run a node and get inbound liquidity to receive.
Liquid is like using onchain bitcoin but fees are always low and you trust a federation of different companies not to steal your money. It also has additional features like better privacy trough confidential transactions. Lightning has other trade offs and use cases. As wallet I will try Blockstream Green and Tdex to peg in onchain bitcoin to liquid.
Liquid actually seems pretty nice for some usecases like receiving much, sending few. Will try using it more now.
That is a great solution, would love to see more like that. I think nostr:npub1z9n5ktfjrlpyywds9t7ljekr9cm9jjnzs27h702te5fy8p2c4dgs5zvycf once had such an bot at nostr too
Yeah nostr:npub17xwygpls3lp7nv540u5syuhkmrpwhtjc23cy5ql4jqrhnw925ejqccncvd but currently only available on Telegram with Dalle 2 and SD
#Bitcoin community, help a fellow Bitcoiner to recover funds! Reposts & @'s highly appreciated🙏
Anyone with contacts to a tech-savvy person at Kraken please relay this! The issue is not easy to get across, user tried with Kraken customer service for two weeks to no avail.
What happened:
- user accidentally pasted Kraken's ln node pubkey as "destination" in a Boltz swap
- turns out node pubkeys are valid P2PKs (the thing before there were Bitcoin addresses), so the swap went through
- now the funds are sitting in a P2PK which Kraken should have keys for
Here the P2PK: https://mempool.space/address/02f1a8c87607f415c8f22c00593002775941dea48869ce23096af27b0cfdcc0b69
Which matches:

Kraken should be able to return the funds using their lightning node's key to sign the transaction.
We know this is a big ask and some might not even consider the amount worth the effort but for us this is about principles: Returning funds to a fellow Bitcoiner, user of Kraken & Boltz 🙏
#Bitcoin never gets boring.
Maybe nostr:npub1hxwmegqcfgevu4vsfjex0v3wgdyz8jtlgx8ndkh46t0lphtmtsnsuf40pf knows somebody
Planning on building a proper fee bot on Nostr (unless someone has a decent alternative for nostr:npub1cyh2mhmvjgplma5de0muydkt0uk6hlynpn7gas4r6xc6zu9utufsststls), so I can play around with #ndk again. Still doubting whether to post/update every 10 minutes or every new block, what do ya'll think?
Every X mins is probably more useful as fees can be most interesting when there is no block for a long time. But could get spammy on the timeline, maybe dms or a hashtag would be useful too.
When will shitcoiners finally wake up to Joinmarket?
Sounds like a good tactic

So this is how a 2.5 SSD looks from the inside lol
