I just meant I tested simple LN tipping (i.e. to your LN Address) and your address supports that as well.
Even anon zaps have the problems OP listed.

Leads to confusion.
Already well established devs are telling people "just get a LN address so I can zap you".
That's setting up newbies for disaster. First, they'll get confused and frustrated if their current LN Address isn't working. Second, they'll equate sending and receiving sats with zapping -- which is public, linked to your pubkey, and can be faked. CBDC-lite.
Zaps = KYC'd, surveilled sats
Plain LN tips = (just sats)

Clients could indeed include oubound zaps from follows in the feed, just like reposts.

Opens up the possibility of content creators to self-zap to promote certain notes at the top of the feed
