The Stormlight Archive series is not for everyone (lots of viewpoint characters and things going on and it only grows as the books go on) but I would recommend giving it another chance. Donāt know how far you made it but once Kaladin and the bridge crew get into their groove it really picks up. The Way of Kings is probably my favorite single Sanderson book (Warbreaker is a close second - Nightblood might be my favorite ācharacterā in the Cosmere). That said, Mistborn is my favorite series (all 7 books are great - the ending of Hero of Ages is amazing) by Sanderson. Also, if you are interested in writing sci-fi/fantasy, Sandersonās lectures on writing are a free podcast series.
