Income taxes are not uniformly apportioned AFAIK. My general stance from reading Irwin's work is that income tax in the US is not legal, it is an offer to pay that has turned into coercion.

I appreciate the info and pointers, I have been in contact with people who have followed that path (Strawman legaliese etc) but at the end of the day, the results have been negligible. Fighting the system in this way is pointless. The NPCs working for fiat dont give a flying fuck what the law says, just obey who pays them.

Whilst I do believe you can exit the system and stop paying the taxes, electric, water bills etc . There are many other consequences to live by too which you need to take into consideration - it is a constant battle, you can't make use of many things in their system easily etc..
You can more easily move to more friendlier places, off grid, away from cities etc..
