We're in an age where we're increasingly limited not by our capability, but by the creativity of our questions.

Yo #[1] this work you continue to do is really important and awesome. I suspect, time will prove you to be one of the most potent advocates and 'catalysts' that inspire the global transition and trend toward Bitcoin and 'open networks that win.' -- Thank you for your voice, creativity, and energy. -- Huzzah!

Precisely. Documents like 'The United States Constitution' exist as a result of the 'intersection of ideas.' Which implies a difference of ideas; coupled with the fact that in that time, an education and quality books were largely something enjoyed by the wealthier classes and included world travel, with 'teachers and institutions' from different parts of the world. So, a wealthy son of a landowning family in France in 1688, might have very different ideas and opinions of how best to govern and inspire economic activity and martial forces and exercise diplomacy than another individual in similar circumstances monetarily, albeit born in Germany, or Sweden, or Japan, etc. -- Differences in ideas and perspectives and approaches coupled with free exchange tend to refine each other.

We're in an age where we're increasingly confined not by our capability, but by our questions.

Interesting thoughts/ideas/exchange. There is definitely a marked 'insulation' and empathy, accountability, priority, competence, gap between 'elected officials' and the general populace for sure. The notion that 'they' work for 'Us' definitely seems to be missed; these 'elected representatives' and 'public servants.' -- It is WILD to me that we regularly ask of exceptional 18 year olds to perhaps take or give their life ....public service....and they do...for very little and at great risk and cost. THAT is service. -- So....yeah, when we hear of those in elected office, these 'public servants' complaining that 165k, transportation perks, exceptional healthcare etc. are inadequate to their 'burden' ... nah fam.

I think akin to multiple types and layers of accounts; a custodial 'hot wallet' for 'coffee & an evening out' - will be one regularly used piece of a larger 'suite' of tools/layers/accts/security/hardware & cold wallets etc. -- I am fine with a custodial wallet for what I'm fine with losing in cash in a traditional wallet for instance. -- I do appreciate the point though. Though I do believe that as Bitcoin and the general awareness and education level of what it is and its potential and how it can be used to store value, the virtue of self-custody, etc. will add sufficient balance such that I hope it in some way does ameliorate your concern. Or so it seems from a perspective; there are many. ha!

Valid; one could argue, a large part of the problem is older people in positions of influence, making terrible decisions with public and finite resources, that will result in consequences, that they themselves do not expect to have to bear the cost of and experience. -- Add to this...in many cases, DECADES of essentially living on the public dole making the salary of a 'public servant' (in an elected office in a gerrymandered district or in an 83/17 situation where one cannot lose) while taking bribes from private interests even if ones constituents suffer for it. -- Rinse and repeat. Add to this the staggering pace of innovation happening re: A.I. and we cannot afford to have people who are literally too old to sign paperwork...but insist on staying in office, to remain there. There is far too much of consequence at stake, and though one could readily argue that we are collectively in no way prepared to navigate this import of this time/moment -- we have to, because it is happening. -- It'd be really cool if we just collectively decided to play the best "chess" we can..for all of humanity, because we have crossed into the era where We definitely can shut down the WHOLE game with the strength of our hubris and stupidity.

Yep. At the least a real crack at a state of 'fair play' broadly.

Nah, you're doing it right. -- First, welcome! Second, remember that it IS early days, so, the initial onboarding experience and interface etc. will only improve with time. -- But more to your question, to get the ball rolling so to speak, one approach is to add several strangers, call it 500 or so or more even, and just...vibe and comment and build from there. Add yourself to relays...and once you establish a hundred or whatever follows, maybe start considering more your follows or join/drop a relay etc. --- My understanding is part of the content you see is determined by relay, part by your friends and their social circle. The more of these connections you make, the more people 'see' your posts it seems and propagate through relays faster/more numerously. --- Important to consider..your experience with NOSTR will be different in some ways depending on the CLIENT you are using. There are mobile clients, and desktop clients etc. Some do images one way, or emojis, or feedback signals, etc. -- Point is...youre private key will allow you to migrate and access this unique ID/Profile/Asset .... There are also multiple lightning wallets you can integrate pretty easily, like 'Alby.' --- Hope you enjoy your experience; happy today to you!
