Lost gamer/techno-psycho in distress from the laws on the birds. Never forget.

I do believe I can do both if I wish. Who's to stop me.

I make no claim to my beliefs of the event, but to the invalidity of your argument.

Ouch, this one hits.

i despise planned development, and communities are even worse.

a whole field gone for 2500+ sqft single family homes.

Hell, I might welcome the apatment complex in comparison.

Mehbe if you are looking at it like the OSI layers.

But even then, nostr would be on the same layer as pocasting 2.0 apps and http in general.

No, no, no. Trolls hate fire.

Silver will trounce bitcoin.

Just wait for the lycan revolt. You'll see.

I prefer less liquid assets. Savings doesn't keep up with inflation these days. They used to make money though.

Bitcoin is interesting in just how liquid it is for such a store of value.

OnePlus seems solid again for new.

Pixels work well for used.

New and cheap? I wouldn't bother.

Why is the debate constantly cited as the reason everyone wants Biden to be replaced?

Have they seen any of his other stuff?

I find the debate to be one of his better moments.

Basic income would have to apply only to people earning below a certain threshold, much like various welfare programs work today.

I imagine without that restriction, inflation would go wild. But it's hard to say.

The Canadian mincome experiment found that it drove people away from poverty, towards healthy relationships, and toward education. But the experiment was restricted to a specific area. A single town iirc.

We have found value in giving money to people stuck in negative poverty cycles, and we need to study that more.

However, for an entire nation earning a basic income, even if abolishing other welfare sources such as food stamps and minimum wage?

There's no way to test that without going all in.

It works on a small scale, as shown in the Canadian experiments. (mincome)

But who knows on the large scale?

I think it would be better and cheaper than the diaspora of welfare the US has today.

Ideally in the form of notes that can only purchase specific goods.

That all said, I'd prefer there be less state control than more..,

Do we have any examples of successful businesses dealing entirely bitcoin?

Or better yet, over lightning and nostr?
