You contradict yourself. Initially, you argue, “Big businesses need infinite economic growth.” Later, you claim, “They plan on taking advantage of climate change reducing the population to have more resources for themselves.” How can they achieve infinite economic growth with a significantly reduced population?
Moreover, if climate change were to reduce the population, it would likely be the poorest who suffer the most, as they control the least resources. This wouldn’t necessarily leave more resources for the wealthy. Additionally, who would be left to work in their factories?
While I agree that there is an excessive production of unnecessary plastic products, I don’t believe capitalism is to blame. What we currently have isn’t true capitalism. It’s a system where profits are privatized while losses are socialized. It also directs significant public funds into the military-industrial complex, which is a major contributor to pollution

I've been pretty disappointed by the lack of Nostr content focused on moving liquids from one container to another, so let's talk about "jiggle siphons". The name says it all, a jiggle siphon (aka safety siphon) is a magnificently simple invention that lets you get a siphon started by just jiggling it up and down a few times in the container you're trying to extract liquid from.

It's a simple check valve (a glass marble inside the valve does all the work), so as it moves up and down in the container, it forces a little liquid into the tube each time, until there's enough to get a siphon flowing. If you've ever sucked gas or aquarium water into your mouth trying to start a siphon that way, you'll understand the value of this.
I've got a couple of copper ones I use for gas and diesel (it's much easier to get fuel out of a full gas can using this siphon than to try to dump it out with the crappy nozzle on the can), but if you just need one for water, you can 3D print one out of plastic and steal a marble from a little kid.

Here are the CAD files I used to make mine. You can use OpenSCAD to customize it to fit whatever size tubing and marble you have.

Let’s all help make jiggle siphon content a thing!

Some valid points in there
Pretty horrifying!
Unfortunately, where there are people, there will always be creeps. No tech can fix that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It’s astounding how often, when people tell me they meditate, that it is not this.
It’s all about balance. If we fuck with the balance too much, we get balanced. That’s nature’s law.
The only thing up for debate is how much we can disrupt things.
Wow! How great to see Nostr host such an organization!!
This approach to WoT is a super promising field of research!!
…and then you get a waiter who winds up being a smarmy, obsequious, manipulative fuck.
Contrast that with the European system, where waiters are paid a liveable wage, get 5 weeks vacation and healthcare. They don’t depend upon, nor expect tips. You get a real person and you have time to sit after your meal and digest…
Yes, fucking criminal!
Good morning, I made a new nostr client: keypub.coracle.social
The goal of keypub is to help surface posts by infrequent posters. It takes the approach of summarizing the content before displaying it to you so that you can more easily get an idea of what you'd like to look at, without having to scroll to the bottom of your feed.

Almost all the people that I have ever met from Iran have been wonderful. They have such a rich culture and cuisine and sense of hospitality.
But fuck their government!!
