Biology is far more expansive than black and white, this or that, the sex is a boy or girl. A dick makes a man, a vaginal makes a woman.
Take intersex people (people born with ambiguous genitalia), for example. Those on this spectrum are about as common as people with red hair.

Birth defects don't really change the fact that biology is binary & that it is impossible to transition from one sex to another.

There is no transitioning. There never will be. You cannot make a man into a fertile woman, you can not make a woman into a fertile man. You can only physically mutilate & chemically castrate people. It's horrible that people are being destroyed in this way. Propagating the idea that any of this is realistic is horrible.

The real question that needs answered
How small does a penis have to be before it counts as intersex.
A penis is still a penis. Cutting it off or calling it "too small" doesn't change the person's chromosomes. It's a silly line if reasoning. Biology IS binary. The infertile exceptions really only prove the rule.

You don't need to do research to understand men and women are fundamentally different, rejecting this basic truth everyone can clearly see is delusional.
Obviously they are not interchangable, no matter how many surgeries and hormones you pump into somebody.
