Beautiful homestead. Food security and woods nearby. 🤙🏽

One of my elderly homesteader customers put me onto this. Fermenting garlic in unpasteurized honey. “A clove or two a day keeps the flu and cold away”.

I’m sure part of the reason it works is because no one wants to get near your breath lol. So be it.

I just can’t say enough about this episode and how Mike H encapsulates the effect of the “fiat monetary disease” on human beings. I pray that I see a day where we cast the parasite class straight into the place where they belong. Steel bars, constant surveillance and (occasionally) three squares a day. See how it feels. nostr:note16x8ffwc9na4de3tvtuafyjt7vj6wsdfjl8l3s33pzxqatzg3tyxsnezyjj

Anything regarding UTXO management, look up nostr:npub14uhkst639zvc2trx2nlsvk4yqkjp690zk89keytnzgmq2az0qmnq58ez89 on wicked smart bitcoin. As for the rest, it’s personal preference. I am a strong believer in offsite redundant storage of critical hardware and metal, tamper sealed seed backups to create time delays, establishment of duress words with friends and family, and moments-notice defence of your home. And not talking to dummies about your stack.

The best most highly optimized adrenaline pumping FPS of all time. Doom Eternal built on the iDTech7 engine.

Great game in the mountains on PS4….”Steep” by Ubisoft Annecy. Every mountain gravity sport in huge open world terrain. Fun coop with friends too. https://video.nostr.build/e37432600ff95cc3419493b00a6f4e1850b4b8f2dbb2c49a7096bfaa51f6763c.mp4

In my experience, four super important things that got a lack of coverage in Bitcoin podcasts and education videos I found when I was just starting on the path were:

- “no KYC” best practices

- timing/delaying exchange withdrawals to maximize received UTXO sizes for self custody

- UTXO consolidation in preparation for higher future onchain transaction fees

- ways of physically securing seed backups and signing devices in places other than the home.

I’ve mixed it up a bit but this round was aimed at phasing Ledger out of my setup. Ledger swears up and down that their hardware is still safe despite offering Ledger Recover and announcing publicly that they can and will share private keys with authorities in certain circumstances, but I was already choked at them for their lack of diligence at keeping its customers’ account info safe. I’m sure at least 90% of my spam is a result of the one email address data breach they suffered, and one at Gemini. All honeypots

I was born in ‘71. Never known a day without gross monetary debasement.

That’s the best rum I think I’ve ever had

What’s the best way to keep records if in addition to asset pulls from exchange accounts in larger chunks, you’ve got a bunch of transfers across a bunch of different personal signing devices? (No spends or sells, just using a lot of different addresses during consolidation on the same set of signing devices.) What a fucking headache. These sats were purchased with money that’s already been taxed to shit.

I get a real buzz watching consolidation transactions being confirmed on my node after redistributing UTXO’s over to a new set of device addresses.

And seeing it all happen at 3 sats/vb.
