Ok

Let's assume those numbers are correct, so what?

We all know fertility rate has been going down for decades in western countries.

I'm not denying that.

I'm denying that it's the effect of a psy op by governments or other powerful groups.

If you mean worldwide abortion numbers since 1975, the most widely cited estimates come from organizations like the Guttmacher Institute and the World Health Organization (WHO), which compile global reproductive health data from national health ministries, demographic surveys, and peer-reviewed studies.

Here’s the breakdown:

🔹 Estimated global number since 1975

• Researchers estimate ~1.6 to 1.7 billion abortions worldwide between 1975 and today.

• This is based on an average of ~50–73 million abortions per year (the range depends on the data source and reporting accuracy).

🔹 How they estimate the numbers

1. Official reports — Some countries have mandatory reporting of abortions from hospitals and clinics (e.g., much of Europe, Canada, parts of Asia).

2. Household & demographic surveys — In countries where abortion is restricted or underreported, health surveys ask women about reproductive history, sometimes indirectly.

3. Statistical modeling — For places with poor or no reporting, researchers estimate based on:

• Birth rates

• Contraceptive prevalence

• Rates of unintended pregnancies

• Ratios from similar countries with reliable data

4. Adjustments for underreporting — Even in countries with legal abortion, private clinics or informal providers might not report every case, so researchers use correction factors.

Because of the large margins of uncertainty, these numbers are approximate — not exact counts. The WHO and Guttmacher emphasize that they’re best estimates rather than precise tallies.

If I wanted an answer by an AI, I would have asked the question to an AI.

🤣

By the way, I'm not sure what you want to prove with this number of abortions.

Sorry, but it's not about being popular or unpopular, or about "opening your eyes".

That's just nonsense.

The fertility rate has been reducing since decades ago while countries were developing, and can be perfectly explained by social and economic changes.

Yes, you are right.

But 30 years ago HTTP was just a protocol too. During last decades some tech corps built on it and end creating data silos and walled gardens that made them become the biggest and most powerful corps in the world.

You are right that nostr fights against those data silos. But corps' thirst for money is very strong, so I won't discard their abilities and creativity.

We'll see how this evolves when (if) nostr starts getting traction.

To be fair, John McAfee said a lot of things...

Sometimes he was right, though.

Day 11 at the ECB.

What a day it’s been. I’ve been a little late for today’s shift, because I had to buy new markers, sadly I couldn’t find orange ones.

But I arrived at perfect time to start my shift at 13:12.

Cop encounters counter moves up to 4 now.

I was still writing my sign when I was approached by Tamara, a journalist from HR, which is the local media outlet. She wanted to shoot some Instagram content and asked a few questions to get more insight into my reasoning.

Time flew by and my friend Fidel brought his chair again, so he took today’s message to the heart and didn’t fall for the scare tactics the authorities tried to use against him yesterday.

We talked to some plebs and passerby’s.

Also Jürgen, and Charles from the ECB were there for some time. I asked Jürgen for the photos that we took earlier this week, but he said he deleted them, because he said that he didn’t like his looks. I asked if the sign (Never trust a cartel bankster) was triggering too much cognitive dissonance, to which he replied:"Yeah maybe"

Charles works on Mica regulation and tried to sell Fidel and me the upsides of the digital euro, which is basically trying to wreck Visas and Mastercards payment infrastructure monopoly.

After they left easy sat down for some time with a couple of questions regarding globalization and freedom.

Honestly it’s hard to keep track of everything that happens, because it’s just so much and the days wash into each other a bit.

Once the sun set behind the skyline, the space gets more crowded. I got some solidarity from the climate justice movement in form of Heike and Michael who were curious and courageous enough to drop by and hear a different perspective on #Bitcoin then what they would read in newspaper headlines.

A private equity banker who had worked for Rothschild stopped for some time to discuss perfect portfolio allocation. He thinks bitcoin is a pyramid scheme. Let him.

Lisa brought the best falafel in town.

Cops tried to say we’re an assembly, but left after a couple minutes without making trouble.

My social media manager Max showed up and showed us the Reels and TikToks he had cut from the days before. My TikTok experiment died the day it was born, because I just fucking hate it, and won’t sell my integrity for cheap clout. But I’m okay if others use it and publish content there, guess it’s a decentralized approach to not get censored on a centralized platform.

Great times, orange vibes start to compound, we’re slowly but surly widening the glitch in the matrix.

Thanks for what you are doing 🫂

I know no details of how they want to implement something like this, but it would be easier to target OS than apps, imo.

Targeting Android and iOS you can achieve 99% of mobile users.

OS builders are few and bigger than app builders, so they are an easier target for institutions.

Because how can you target every app to comply?

As I said, dunno their intentions, but this is a recipe for disaster.

🫂

It'll depend how it's finally implemented at the OS level, I'd say.

Why don't we have a picture of Bitcoin's Headquarters?

🤙

For Android nostr:nprofile1qqs83nn04fezvsu89p8xg7axjwye2u67errat3dx2um725fs7qnrqlgzqtdq0 exists and works very well!!

🤙

"the sender needs no internet".

The receiver will most likely has connectivity and check with the mint the validity of the received token.

You're welcome.

🫂

You can not put an idea out of a mind.

The world already knows bitcoin.

Any tip on how to overcome that situation?

👀

Is it easily replaceable?
