I forgive you for censoring me on Twitter for my own safety. I truly did not want to undergo a Jewish lynching for my beliefs. thank you.
when they find out, they realize I'm only acting normal in a very abnormal situation, and nobody wants that kind of attention-by-association for better or for worse.
it's a big kind of love and a big kind of hate.
when I'm in the ocean, it's clear to me that this isn't just human nature, it is nature itself. there is no choice but to take the good with the bad; otherwise, one never learns the art of survival.

idk maybe those people haven't realized that the X algorithm is built to regurgitate Elon's Rage Bait, but once they understand how much can be communicated while not under the duress of performative self-promotion, I think they'll find a lot of value in the simplicity of Nostr.
I don't even have to mute words to stop my feed from being auto-populated with those regurgitations of content about people I do not exist to Make Happy and who may or may not be failing to make me Unhappy.
that alone is something to appreciate.
it's almost like the algorithm can't mind rape people anymore because there isn't one. I hope all humans someday understand the value of that.

seems like more of a Mafia threat than an effort to help Brazil become more "sovereign".
these are precisely the people Brazilians shouldn't be listening to.
Bill Ackman is a snake.

at present, the drama about evil dictators shutting down twitter in their countries is being intensified by the claim that twitter is somehow a bastion of free speech when it's not. elon isnt exactly a warrior saint for human or civil rights after letting the devil in through the backdoor if you know what I mean.
the solution was and is simple, it's here, but he prefers to interject himself and his ideas into the affairs of nations and individuals on their behalf, of course, because they're all stupid and in need of the wisdom of the New American Technocracy or whatever.
it's exactly how cults bring in new members, but it's also more valiant on the surface with the whole Make Humanity Interplanetary thing. if you're sufficiently paranoid – not like Silicon Valley paranoid where it's all mere projection – you know that the problem really is the governments AND the oligarchs who are at each other's throats over...something. imo, there's an imbalance of rhetorical power between them and the oligarchs are winning by pretending to represent the peoples' interests.
this is the lie of X: the governments, politicians, oligarchs, influencers, talking heads, glazers, dickriders, sycophants, fanbois and fangirls, and utter nutjobs who just want something to grift off, all know full well that the solution is Very Fucking Simple.
they don't want diplomacy, peace, resolve. they want the high circus drama and elon's approval.
yet elon refused to implement a more "decentralized" model on X when he had the chance, perhaps, because he is an oligarch and he likes the power. he is a control freak who attracts control freaks who think we are all just jealous of them for not being Elon's Chosen People. they've never really asked themselves why someone wouldn't want to participate in the Cult of Muskianity.
I think all world governments should REQUIRE social media to be decentralized, especially if the platforms want to operate outside of America, because that's really how you prevent these idiot Zionists from raping every single Constitution on the planet in the long run.
the Free Speech technology exists, and my hope is that the world protects the people who have built it and continue to do so. my guess is that both Venezuela and Brazil would benefit greatly by being an example of For the People and By the People through promoting the use of Nostr FOR THE SAKE OF THEIR OWN COUNTRIES.
X might be For the People but it's not By the People. like the American government, it is occupied by You Know Who's who are The Most Interested in censorship. they hate free speech to begin with and they don't like anything that cuts them off from yet another avenue of control. at best, their version of free speech is limited.
imo, if you love free speech so fucking much then your tech stack should reflect it; otherwise, you're making an argument for Simple Censorship rather than Complex Censorship.
it's all the same bullshit in the end.
I think we'll stop caring whether access to Twitter or any other social media constitutes Free Speech when the world is properly Nostrized. we already know that algorithms are forms of censorship, but it's also bonkers to me that elon doesn't consider his own influence on the algorithm and on The Narrative to be a form of censorship in itself.
the other thing is that the old hall monitors were replaced with new hall monitors, but we all know who's cracking the whip behind the scenes, and it brings us all back to the original conundrum wherein there is no such thing as truly free speech in the current social media model under the chokehold of the advertising industry.
there's no such thing as true free speech on any platform unless it's run by a collective of individuals and cannot be shut down under any circumstances. whatever is being currently sold on twitter as Free Speech is an illusion and you don't have to be super intelligent to understand that.
all hoaxes are not coverups but all coverups are hoaxes.
