I had something really bad that started about a month ago. Hacking up brown and green shit.

It’s still lingering, and the doc gave me a puffer to help me breathe a bit easier at night. The past 2 nights are the first 2 that I’ve slept right through in about a month.

Still have a slight cough with some clear phlegm. I’ve never in my entire life that I can remember anyways, had a sickness for this length of time before. It’s getting really annoying, and I’ve got a slightly jammed rib still from coughing so hard earlier on.

I can usually shake a cold in about a week or so without any antibiotics. Hate taking them because they wreck your gut. Then you gotta take probiotics to help with repair.

I’ve noticed quite a bit recently that my 2 older kids are taking a lot of interest in bitcoin and the younger one just lights right up when she hears the word bitcoin. I’ve set the 2 older kids up with a lightning wallet and send them sats here and there for doing chores.

The middle aged kid was watching all the transactions in the mempool with me the other day, she thought that was awesome. Especially when I told her about the 2 large pizzas and what those pizzas could be worth now.

The oldest is currently reading the Internet of Money series from Andreas A.

The youngest was holding a 5 dollar bill the other day and was saying how she has $25,000 and then quickly changed it to “5 20,000’s”. She’s 4 🤣

I couldn’t help but think of the inflationary nature of fiat while she was talking all while getting a chuckle out of it. Then, I asked her if she wanted bitcoin instead, and she said with a sharp reply “bitcoins???” As her eyes went wide open and head turned towards me.

I’m really not sure exactly what she thinks Bitcoin is, but she’s heard it enough times in this household now to know it’s something, and something that seems very interesting and exciting to her. I do have a feeling that she thinks it’s something with value and related to money.
