What makes him, the invention of #Bitcoin, so unique, surreal, is that it’s totally altruistic. Because humans are generally selfish, lazy creatures of habit, it’s hard for humans to invent something altruistic.

Slushing things around amongst themselves to control the #Bitcoin/USD exchange rate. Simple really.
Not that much, since they are buying and selling to each other (ETFs, Exchange, Futures, Corporate holders etc). The losses are only the upward propensity induced by retail, a very small fraction of a percentage for each transaction. And yes, the rest can be subsidized by printing.
All I can say is to err on the side of caution, I don’t trust anyone. Not a good look. It’s a big club…Reminds of the Zelensky Vogue cover:

Agree. MoE is critical to adoption; however, the tools are in place. They are easier to use than a credit card and Apple Pay. So we just need to do it, I am. My comment was responding to: „If Bitcoin cannot be used for everyday transacting around the world“. It can. It is. It’s easy. The rest is up to us.

I use #Bitcoin all the time for payments. Zaps or Strike lightning option. Easy breezy.
