It needs to be taken in under the arms - thankfully it's a tank top style, so it shouldn't be overly difficult (I'm hoping)

Daughter's semi-formal dress is secured. Just have to figure out how to alter it myself - dance is in a week 🫨

Haha, those guys are actually kind of funny. The content creator world has been duped into thinking engagement is something other people do to them, rather than something they have to do out in the community. We're not a captive audience being forced to watch their stuff here on nostr, so they have to learn to be more entrepreneurial and sociable in their approach.

Bedding tip for kids beds. Use a waterproof mattress cover and top sheet then put another waterproof mattress cover and sheet on top of that. Really

helpful for nighttime accidents or in case of illness. You can just take off top sheet and mattress cover and not have to worry about making the bed in the middle of the night.

It’s good to keep two changes of clothes in a diaper bag in case multiple blowouts happen while you’re out. In the same vein, see if you can get a duplicate of your car seat’s cloth materials.

There have been weeks where she really went through the clothes 😅 so even though it isn’t necessary to put a baby in a new outfit every day, I’d say it’s good to have at least seven outfits just in case there are that many accidents in a laundry period. I don’t think I’ve personally seen it, but my max of five is close enough to think it’s wise.

You’d think 0 in 0-3 really means newborn, but it honestly seems to be sized for bigger than that on average 😂 Sophia left the hospital weighing 8 lb 1 oz. She’s now 11 lb 1 oz, and has been wearing 0-3 months size the whole time. Towards the beginning, that was quite loose on her and newborn size would have been more appropriate (we had nothing in newborn size she could wear in a car seat), but it still worked. If your baby is smaller (statistically likely) it would be good to have some newborn sized outfits, but they’ll grow out soon.

If you wish to narrow down what you use by convenience, rompers with a double zipper (one pull at the top, one pull at the foot) are the most convenient, followed by rompers with a normal zipper. We seldom use onesies that have three snaps at the crotch and have never used anything that has a longer snap closure or buttons.

That's the fun of new parenting, lol. My thoughts were it will be easier to get more if needed, but a pain to have a bunch and have to deal with it.

Just don't remove any tags unless it's being worn. If any of the items are Cat & Jack from Target, they'll exchange those with zero question. They also take back things if that brand your kids have outgrown and give you store credit.

Anything I couldn't return that we didn't use, I regifted. Lol.
