I know! I can't wait til he's here so he can wear all of them ๐
if he's open to consuming content made by Bitcoin content creators, then send him an article or podcast that you like that touches on the subject. Make sure you include a SHORT description on what you found interesting ("they interviewed this dude who was using excess hydropower for Bitcoin mining to help level power usage. I liked the part where he talks about how it impacted the local community"*) dont just send a link with no context.
if he's not open to consuming Bitcoin content, then just leave him be. maybe send him some memes that reflect the common ground that you guys share about Bitcoin. maybe it's about how it's a better money or the price or how inflation is wild.
Meet him where he's at. He's your brother first. He doesn't need to see it your way right now. Stay humble.
*I just made this up. not sure if there's an actual podcast about this
baby sleeper is done! I made up the pattern on my own with a dash of winging it. I'm really happy with how it came out ๐ฅฐ details below!
#knitting #momstr #handmade
This project was inspired by a sleeper that my mom got for baby. it was convertible to have legs or to have it straight like a sleep sack. not sure how practical it is but I just really liked the concept and had to try it.

the sleeper is fastened with snaps. usually snaps aren't used in knitted garments because snaps put a lot of wear on button bands and they can rip right now. I reinforced them by knitting them in linen stitch and also sewing on fabric. very stable fabric for snaps.

I ended up knitting the sleeves pretty short and didn't do the fold over mitten like I mentioned in a previous note. I think it would have been too bulky since multiple layers are involved. I think these will be full or 3/4 sleeves. honestly, baby proportions are a mystery to me so who knows really.
I'm so glad to be done with it. It's so cute and now I can start another new knitting project!
making a beanie that fits you just right is really easy! you'll get it in no time. if you need any help, let me know!
yeah I love the colors! it's just some kind of sport weight acrylic that I picked up for cheap. holding it double and staggering the color changes makes it look nicer than it is ๐
mom: what're you crocheting there?
me: uh... I'm not sure
mom: ???
me: I bought this yarn a long time ago and I just wanted to crochet something for no reason.
my reason: I'm bored of waiting. dear baby, please exit my uterus. it's about time.

my biggest advice is to remember that photography is a two part process. taking the photo and editing the photo. certain things can be done better or easier in one part compared to the other (ex. getting model to pose correctly is easier in the shoot than trying to edit on post) there are lots of digital tools out there today that blur the lines between the two.
your list is a great start. for the first one, I'd say to neither under or over expose. the point is to be able to capture details at all light levels. that will give you the most flexibility when editing.
another one I don't think you mentioned is to shoot in RAW when you can. it gives you a lot more control in editing than compressed file types.
Happy Women's Day!
as an aside, it really amuses me that March 8 is IWD cuz ไธๅ ซ is slang when referring to a woman who is silly and flamboyant.
in our family it is a light chastisement but in general use, it can be super rude and derogatory.

so sad to hear about the passing of Akira Toriyama. the world loses a legendary creator. his work will live on.
seriously considering re-reading the 3 Body Problem trilogy once more before the TV series comes out on the 21st ๐ค I wonder how far I'd get.
i imagine if a reader can understand the concepts and story of the series, the names are the least of their troubles.
i think the general American public is more likely to not enjoy the book because the first one starts off set in the CCP.
kinda cute she has a stand mixer. I don't even have that.
yes, but also I bought way too much of this yarn ๐
on my needles lately, a baby sleeper!
I couldn't find a pattern with the design I wanted so I'm making up my own. It'll have snaps down the front and the bottom can be snapped into legs or be open. Not sure what to do for the sleeves. maybe a fold over cuff that can turn into a mitten?

hello #breadstr bud ๐ซ
soooo glad to be able to edit posts cuz now I can go back and write which hat designs are sold and which are still available. hope that makes it easier for people looking at my stuff.
waiting outside a shop for them to open up. an older woman walks up to wait with me. she asks "so when are you due?"
I say "today, tomorrow, any day now"
she goes on to say that she thought so cuz baby looks real low and then she says "this is the one thing that man hasn't been able to take away from God."
I tried not to laugh in her face. I see where she's coming from...
but this is an IVF baby ๐
