Good habits take time to form. Try your best but don't beat yourself up if you haven't met your ideal standards.

In that being said, I think it's easier to stay tidy when you have less stuff. Here's a nice heuristic to determine whether to keep object X: if X gets stained by dog poop, would I wash it or throw it away? If the answer is to throw it away, you don't need it 🤣

I spun this sample with a tiny drop spindle I made with a dowel and a wooden toy wheel. It's a little too light to spin properly and I ended up putting a couple rubber bands around the wheel to add weight.

Combed and spun a sample of Babydoll Southdown wool today. The fleece was long, for Babydoll. It was quite fine and soft but very easy to comb and draft. Beautiful to work with!
