a beautiful new star! I'm so pleased with how the colors turned out and after a quick trip through the washer and dryer it is sooo soft π₯°

yeah, I'll be right there. I need to get to a good stopping point crocheting this star blanket.
*an amount of time passes*
apparently, a good stopping point is finishing it π
I'll take photos and show it off tomorrow π
can't wait for the finale π±π±π±

you don't need to do any of these things.
you don't need to make posts for the sake of zaps and you don't have to read posts of people who are posting simply because they want to get zapped.
it's obvious when someone makes content solely for the purpose of getting zapped. it comes off disingenuous and yeah, I don't bother wasting my time with people like that.
we're already wearing Kirkland pants, might as well give Kirkland lager a go.

finished a bunch of chores and taking a breather with a new star blanket. soft teals and cream for this one π©΅

fair point! π€£
most young adults these days have trouble changing a lightbulb unfortunately
I did some yarn+labor math and future wool blankets will be 275k sats. I'm not gonna go back to increase the price on this one though so have at it!
post photos from your daily life.
if you want to make a makeshift proofing box you can put your dough in a microwave or insulated cooler with a jar of hot steamy water.
yesterday was nice. went to a craft store that's dying and got a couple cute flannel fabric remnants that I'll make into blankets for the upcoming babies. man, it still trips me up that there's gonna be two of them at once π΅βπ«
I also finished the blue and green star blanket I was working on so I started another one. I'm getting really familiar with the pattern now so it's fun and relaxing (as opposed to frantically referring back to the pattern every row or trying to troubleshoot why I have extra stitches)
I'm seriously considering offering to make these on commission. for 100% wool, 275k sats. for acrylic or wool blends, 210k sats. like around, $225 and $170 respectively. I think people would really like it. The shape is unique, the striping is mesmerizing to look at and I think it really showcases what hands can make that machines can't.
that was yesterday. today, I feel tired and stiff. my body is carrying a lot of physical stress (clenched shoulders, jaw) so I'm taking a breather today. taro went to go hang out with his papa. I'm starting to feel the littles squirm and flip around inside which makes me feel relieved.
