this reminds me of the days when I worked at a fancy department store. I really enjoyed helping people find outfits they liked and felt confident and beautiful in.
once I helped a teenager find the perfect dress for her dance and her dad was so happy with how happy she was that he tipped me in cash. the next day, my boss was like "good job, but just so you know we're not actually allowed to accept tips" 😆

color change cups are so fun. my grandpa had a Chinese tea set where the little tea cups had goddesses fairies on them.

ahh okay, so it's about time to start! taro just turned one. he can stand pretty well holding onto stuff. I'm thinking about getting a toddler tower for the kitchen counter.

how did they get their start with helping in the kitchen? I want to make sure my boys are raised knowing how to cook and way around the kitchen. it's such an important life skill

last night we went to dinner to celebrate with a friend who recently became a homeowner and had a birthday.
initially, I thought it would be a burgers and brew type of restaurant but nope! this place is white tablecloth, still or sparkling, bathroom stall doors all the way to the floor, type of place.
we ordered prime rib and taro loved it. this boy came out of the womb craving a steak. he did have some mashed potatoes, asparagus and some of the cheese board too.

I'm thinking that I'll make these sales post an every two weeks thing. It gives me enough time to get the yarn, make them and ship them all while taking care of taro and the household.
The price of each blanket is 105k sats, approx. $90USD. They're about 36" x 48" which is a perfect throw size. Feel free to ask me questions! I make these with super chunky yarn so there's no choice but to pull each stitch by hand. Literally a hand ✋ made item!
If you've never purchased anything on nostr or using Bitcoin before, here's how it goes:
When you pm me that you want to buy a blanket, I will send you the colors of yarn available and a lightning invoice. Once it is paid and you send me your color choices and shipping info, I will buy the yarn and get to work. It usually will take about a week and I'll keep you updated as I go along. You could do a solid one color blanket or choose up to three colors. Once it's done and dropped off at the post office, I will send you the tracking number.
I'm so glad to go for another round of sales using nostr and Bitcoin only. Never ever going back to third party sites and giving away our hard earned money in fees!
