Jack proposed a 90 day plan for folks to try to help expand outside of just Bitcoin. A bunch of us who listen to his podcast are doing just that. I'm only one week in and already finding nostr so much more interesting than anywhere else.

Running Start9 (EmbassyOS / StartOS) can be done directly on hardware or in a VM. Which is best for you depends on your specific needs and desires.
I've run Start9 OS on a VM for testing purposes to let me snapshot, try things, blow it away and restart. My actual servers running my nodes and services are all physical hardware.
In general if you are running your servers long term I'd suggest running them directly to get best performance and least issues. If you are experimenting and may need to 'roll back' changes frequently then a Virtual Machine can be handy.
Your mileage may vary.

Yes, you need to be careful with financial advice to employees / coworkers, but I'm with you - I direct deposit part of my paycheck to Strike, and dollar cost average (DCA) by making weekly purchases. Occasionally I may 'buy the dip' when the price drops, but generally, I sit back and let DCA do the work.
I do tell my coworkers what I do, but always preface it with the your situation may be different, you need to think through the risks...
I teach people about Bitcoin and crypto as a side hustle and that is one of the areas where I always try to balance - I'm a big believer in bitcoin, but everyone needs to be responsible for themselves and what they are comfortable with.
I'm working to bring more folks to nostr as well now. Here they can learn about bitcoin and so much more - this is a great community!!!

Thanks for your comments on Dave Ramsey. I agree he is good at helping folks get out of debt but question his investment advice.
Along the same lines, one of my favorite financial books is "Your Money or Your Life".
Joe Dominguez and Vicki Robin give great advice on how to spend your money consciously on things you value and not fritter it away foolishly. Their investment advice, I found much less helpful. #grownostr #financialplanning #ramsey

This is amazing. I need to play with your Magic Web Store a bit, but it seems really easy to setup and get going. Using nostr for the infrastructure simplifies so many things!
More work is needed to get it ready for prime time, BUT wow!!! It is close.

Cancel my subscription to Twitter because of a WEF CEO? I never paid them before, so nothing to cancel. And to be honest, after starting on nostr I have less and less interest in spending time on twitter. I suspect you will see the number of active users decrease, but most twitter users probably won't care. By contrast, most people here (nostr) I think (like me) will be dropping twitter soon.
