But on the other hand I'm not 100% sure about fire, earthquake, stroke, the years go by and forgetting things, other disabilities, break-ins, $5 wrenches, getting hit by a truck, screwing up 12/24 seeds, whom to trust with multisig, the secondary location, and so on.
Re self-custody: I feel less likely to lose coins stored on River or Swan or such, than on Ledger or Trezor or such. For a lot of people I know, this feeling is the truthier truth.
