If we want a DNS like discovery for relays, we will be able to automatically discover content on new relays.

But, this way, we can accidentally find malicious relays as well.

How about relays having a trusted relay list, and based one the relays you use, you have a trusted relay list.

#asknostr

What informations do you have on relays to trust them?

How do you add access to a bare WoT relay?

The owner shall follow others to let them use, but how do you follow them if their profile is not on the relay?

#asknostr #haven

Shall haven work, if you start it with a totally new npub?

I see the http static sites, but cant connect to the websocket.

Also not using a domain for it.

NextCloud can classify by faces, group by gps coordinates and by objects on images.

Not sure if this is enough for you.

But that is a private cloud solution.

gee-O-S, sounds a good name to replace i-O-S.

If you want to share things across devices securely, try SyncThing!

Thanks for comming to my Ted Talk!

I highly recommend trying syncthing, that is the best for sharing across devices.

https://syncthing.net/

1. Install syncthing on your devices.

2. Share a common folder across all.

3. Anything you put in the folder will be synced.

Also works with sharing notes across devices! I used it with obsidian.

One caveat: Both device has to be online for the sharing to work. But just sharing files, this is always met.

In rare cases are the loud right, and not the silent.

#nostr

That is what I was thinking.

If you want to play around with it, just spin up a haven instance. Then you have everything for your group.

On the other hand, the original idea was, to really store the data privately. So you could use any relay.

Our problems move us forward!

What is the next problem you solve Anon?

I am building an app to make my lifestyle more healthy, and gamified.

Probably many apps wont survive.

But the pure fact that you can build on templates, means we can learn from previous apps mistakes, and generate a better one for the next short prompt.

You dont even need clients. Public relay data is available for everyone.

#asknostr

Who would be interested in a private experience on nostr?

Like private data storage, private social media (posts only shared with a certain group of people)

Valid point.

And you mean having payment for spam is making it censorable, and you want a provably uncesorable sw. Right?

Isnt a directly taken "offer to pay" a proof? What do I dont see in the context?

Or you mean you need the proof for "accounting" purposes?

#asknostr

Is nsec.app bunker working properly for someone?

How do you collapse the context of Dork so it does not use that much tokens?

#asknostr

Why is Amethyst using also the recommended relays (not only selected ones) on phone A with app from F-Droid,

and

using only the selected relays on phone B with app from playstore/aurora?

The relay list is the same though, just one app uses the recommended relays, the other dont.

I feel you. I guess I am still farther away then you are. I am doing the same, learning. I am using llms at work, but not yet at home. There I want a bit more privacy, but local models did not act good enough so far.

It does not even matter if they do, because if someone stores it, he can prove it who posted it.
