found a screenshot from when I was able to get it down a little after clearing the cache. this was in the icloud backup, was getting stuck around here till I completely deleted and reinstalled. that seemed to help it lost a year or two of bookmarks though 😞
how do you avoid all the cache bloat?
I love damus but it got up to about 44gb in backup size after 1.5ish years of use. only just found that I can clear the cache though! had to reinstall to bring it back down to 1-3gb in size. it just keeps growing though, at least when I don’t stay on top of the manual cache clearing

Pretty stoked after my day with nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm Hub. Managed to get everything set up to my liking. Now any lightning txs that go to btcsessions@getalby.com will go directly to my self custodial lightning node purring away on my nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll. I was also able to seamlessly link all of this to nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5 on my phone.
I've got some editing to do, but the tutorial will show how to use the cloud hosted option first, followed by a full self sovereign setup on your own hardware. Looking forward to releasing this one.
