If you start to build something that’s supposed to make money at some point, do you track the time you spend on it before launching, just to know how much time you spent on it so you can include it in your ROI and pricing calculation?

Appreciate it. If I had the chance to talk to my younger self, I’d recommend to go to the gym after stopping to smoke instead of living off of licorice and fastfood for a year so the kilos don’t get a chance to accumulate. 🙃

Do you guys know if there is a way to Pause apps on nostr:nprofile1qqs9g69ua6m5ec6ukstnmnyewj7a4j0gjjn5hu75f7w23d64gczunmgpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumt0wd68ytnsw43qz9thwden5te0v35hgar09ec82c30wfjkcctexf34p3? I used to be able to pause my social media apps on my Android so if I compulsively click on any one I can't access it easily and I would have to unpause.

Last time I tested with both nostr:nprofile1qqs9xtvrphl7p8qnua0gk9zusft33lqjkqqr7cwkr6g8wusu0lle8jcpp3mhxue69uhkyunz9e5k7qg4waehxw309ajkgetw9ehx7um5wghxcctwvsqs6amnwvaz7tmwdaejumr0ds2g5zx8 and nostr:nprofile1qqsf3d23f5vqdnkfrem3kmvfq5hf4puwszgfnvurn4syu0s6w53s50cpzemhxue69uhkummnw3ex2mrfw3jhxtn0wfnj7zyu8l4 I clicked disable in the app info window but that basically caused me to have to redownload and reenter my nsec with both when I was ready to use again, which is just not practical and super time consuming.

Any help appreciated. I'd really love to restrict my access to #nostr but conviently to support my productivity.

Not open source AFAIK but you could try it without giving Internet access upon install.

The more I read into Matrix the more it seems like the OSI model of messaging.

All the boasting about nation state use and helping NATO build Element forks doesn't vibe with me either.

Perhaps leaving XMPP behind wasn't the best of ideas. I'm sure stuff like push notifications could be done more efficiently using ntfy. I haven't touched the stuff in years.

SimpleX also feels like a clutch. I get what they're trying to do but it feels like Freenet in the early 2000s.

2013-2016 I got down to 115kg and got stuck there by opting out of public transport and using the bicycle for everything. Also started road cycling. Got me out of a major depression as well. It was a struggle though.

2016-2019 got me down to 105kg. Tracked calories for a while, increased my performance on the road bike and became vegan.

2019-now had me jumping between 85-95kg, started kung fu/wing chun in addition to road biking. I also added daily cold showers, red light therapy, grounding and going vegetarian to my lifestyle. Not doing any kung fu right now though.

Publishing open letters that'll never be read by the targeted audience is shallow virtue signaling.
