And I don’t mean to single out devs, everyone is susceptible to this. It’s just that devs are the ones making the app.
Also, sometimes what the user wants is not the idea solution.
It’s a delicate balance. Definitely need to have that process in place but time and resources are limited and the user’s wishes are not always what’s best for the product. Having the time to explore things no user will ever ask for is also important.
Even more innocent than that - just being a power user of your own app will do that
Devs building their own apps sometimes develop tunnel vision and ignore the basic issues that drive new users crazy. It’s tough to know how something is not working well if you’re the pro user who has already found workarounds or got used to the issue.
Constantly talking to new users to see where they get hung up helps solve that.
I have yet to try nostr on android
