Desktop or mobile?

The weird thread visualization, at least on Desktop (I don't use anything nostr on mobile).

Like when I quote a post it posts that quote in the thread, which is fine, but don't include the original post in it's entirety in the view, just an excerpt.

Short OP's are fine, but when quoting long-forms you need to scroll for hours to get to the next comment in the thread.

I hate the fact that I can’t copy a noteID.

I wish there was an option to view notes separately from notes & replies.

Performance. It's not really usable for me. Every action I take in snort makes my browser page unresponsive for almost full minutes.

Hate is a strong word 😂 but I’d like a bit more color contrast… notes currently blend together visually. Set 🤙 as preferred reaction.

keep it up, research and discussions had like this by the designer is where other clients are seriously lacking.

off the top of my head:

slow performance.

no quote repost.

too damn simple (post card and site bg blend too much).

post button too far away (the circle pen in the bottom right corner of the screen).

at first I was maining snort, now maining primal (all on desktop. mobile I'm imagining plebstr then amethyst at the moment).

i’d say width and the lack of screen usage on desktop. feels just like a mobile port. i feel like that’s where Primal thrives, as you have the nav bar on the left, trending/most zapped sections on the right, and timeline in the middle 💜

first one is sometimes it takes a long time to load (both desktop and mobile browser), which makes me wonder if something is broken, so I hop to another client. I used to go to snort first because of design :/

Something seems broken right now. Usually it’s my go to web client.

I would love to see the width of the main content column increased. Or have the ability to add more columns for hashtags, etc.

1. functionality - doesn't load for me on desktop

2. logo feels like a mismatch to the overall concept - logo feel like that cobra kai martial arts movie, super badass while the content feels wholesome, cuddly, soft, welcoming

3. colour palette - lavender is quite daring. purple theme is find, but you don't need all purple in your colour palettes

4. What is snort's brand story? i can't tell. If i were to describe is based on music genre, it's swinging between gospel to hip hop with occasional karate chops

5. what's snort's prized features / main differentiators? I can't tell. There's a bit of everything
