First try of home raised, home cured bacon. Pretty good stuff.

Who has some tips for tennis elbow? I got it a while ago and pressure washing today got to be pretty painful.

I had a pastor who did a lot of work with Habitat For Humanity and was very good. But he told me the first time he was on a job site, someone told him “Grab those 16 pennies and tie in the joists.” He replied,”No problem. I just have three questions: what’s a 16 penny, what’s a joist, and how do you tie it in?”

The Democrats say they want to have a female president, but the last two leading ladies they have put forward (Hillary and Kamala) are, in front of a crowd and a camera, hands down unlikeable. I have to think that they don’t really mean it.

This story reminds me of Mark Twain talking about the union they had on the Mississippi. It basically drove all the business to the railroads and the union members out of jobs.

These people are worried about being replaced but going on strike. Seems like self-planned obsolescence.

Power BI hands down. If you know Excel, Power BI feels familiar. There’s not a lot of tricks to get things done. Tableau is tricky and expensive.

Interesting. When I kept pigs on the other side of the road, they got a few deer keds, but I never saw them grooming each other.

Because people actually go to NBA games. People don't go to WNBA games. Salaries are direct results of how much money teams make.

No one cares about the WNBA it's a niche & a small one. Highschool football in just Texas has more people that care about it then the entire WNBA.

I mean I don't even give two shits about basketball or honestly sports period but I know millions do and markets set pricing based on demand. The WNBA is about as in demand as used personal hygiene products. Sorry, not sorry.

The law of supply and demand is a mystery to some people.

Thursday I was driving my two youngest. I wasn’t paying attention to their conversation until my 9 year old says to my 11 year old, “We’re talking about the GOVERNMENT here! They’re all CRIMINALS!”

Pigs grooming each other. Not something I see everyday. Hey did one of the others over in the shade after this.

“I just think…”

This phrase is a tell. What follows is likely a non sequitur.

So we’re all heading to Philly for this, right? Anyone want to carpool?

I don’t know. While the words she used were moronic, she managed to put together intelligible sentences, which puts her ahead of the two in charge.

If your business has double doors, when your open, unlock BOTH of them.

Dear chain stores (since I’m sure you all follow me on nostr):

You should set up all your stores as identically as possible.

It’s frustrating to walk into a store and go to the back where you expect to find pet supplies, only to learn that it’s in the front of the store.

Not only is this a customer satisfaction issue, but this affects your bottom line as well. I know where everything is in my local Lowes. But if I’m in another town, I’m just as likely to go to Home Depot (or Ace or whatever is convenient) because I will have trouble finding what I want in any store. If all Lowes were the same, I would seek out a Lowes.

No, I don’t want to have to use your app to find what I want. Make this easy.

Yes, I realize the same store in different locales have slightly different inventories. So make them very similar. Maybe an aisle on the right near the back is now on the back wall on the right. Close enough.

Why do I need to point this out? Is your omphaloskepsis too much, or do you hate money?
