Been out of the nostr for a while and was surprised by the user stats at https://stats.nostr.band/ I know they are not 100% accurate but I think they carry some truth. Why do you think nostr daily active users are dwindling? I have my reasons but I'm curious to read other's opinions on the matter.
Some guy on SimpleX called us an "echo chamber with circle jerk ethos" (direct quote). I think there is also some misconception around nostr being a "spy protocol" funded by Dorsey and cannot be used privately.

Veremos entre todos los que asistan las posibilidades que nos ofrece esta billetera. Llevaremos a cabo diferentes ejercicios prácticos con fondos de testnet para hacerlo sin miedo, desde como generar una semilla, recuperar una wallet con fondos, etiquetar utxos y construir transacciones. También repasaremos la diferencia entre los tipos de conexión a nodos que nos ofrece con vista a que la gente se anime a correr su propio nodo en el futuro haciendo énfasis en la autocustodia.
No importa si tienes experiencia o no has utilizado jamás esta herramienta adaptaremos el encuentro al nivel de los asistentes. Seria genial que traigan sus ordenadores para llevar a cabo este taller, y si es con fondos testnet mejor si no, tampoco es impedimento para sacar provecho al encuentro.

For me ⚡ will always be the Lightning symbol, which should not be conflated with sats as a unit.
For example, when I buy things at checkout I choose ⚡ to indicate I want to pay over Lightning as opposed to on-chain.
I use sats as a unit account not just for Lightning but also for base layer and ecash.
Zaps are Lightning transactions. Intermint swaps are also Lightning transactions.
The current sats symbol comes from 丰 which means fullness or plentifulness in some East Asian languages. It's one way Satoshi's name can be transliterated. Personally I like that. I also think it's easy to write.
Recently switched to nsecbunker and Bitcoin Connect on nostrudel or Coracle. Works on mobile and desktop.
