It could in theory, I’ve never had a BTC miner personally but back in the day when I had GPU rigs they would reconnect on their own if it was for a short period of time. If it is for a long period, it sometimes needs a reboot because it falls in time out error.

If my BTC miner’s internet connection goes out, does the miner stop ‘mining’ (using so much power), even when still on? I would think so because it no longer has data to calculate?

You are correct, if it lost connection it is no longer connected to the pool, therefore it’s not receiving or sending information anymore.

Same thing if you are streaming a movie from your computer. If internet connection is out, your computer is still working but your movie is out.

Sure, there are several features to Nostr Sites.

You can write some HTML code into a nostr note, and paste the noteID into the main page. In about 10 seconds, it will render your code and give you a url associated with the noteID.

There is an option to fill out a form, and it will give you some HTML you can use to create a default link tree. Or you can write with markdown, and it will convert it to HTML. Then you just copy this HTML code and paste it into your favorite client.

And finally, there is a paid service that gives you several cool features. You will get a custom url (nostrsites.com/btcapsule), and the option to use additional frameworks like jquery.

Ok that’s nice. But where are the website hosted? This seems to be similar to Nostr.build but for webpage?

My suggestion is keep your news accounts to the bare minimum

Or memorize them and check in sporadically.

It’s pretty f’ing nice here not getting my emotions highjacked and the big stuff manages to trickle down in the conversations anyway

I’m not quite sure about that, I would like to have a balanced feed. Right now my feed is more of a echo chamber.

I need more people like nostr:npub1ewe0qgak4gykym236t6w4x06jyuw4q8v040lmn5lamude434yqcsz7uqlw to balance my fees with day to day stuff..
