I see a big difference between in the Bitcoin space. People used to be friendly and collaborative.
Now, I see a lot less cooperation and toxicity between “known figures”.
Seems like the Bitcoin universe is starting to collapse from the inside. Why?
Is it because Bitcoin has mature to a point where you need less “innovations” or new toy?
Is it because the feeling that there won’t be any “crazy” bull run and that we are pretty much looking at yield instead of x10?

Just installed nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm Hub on my home lab. Super lightweight and took literally 45 seconds with Docker Compose.
Now it’s time to FAFO. I already have a few question marks:
1- How do you go about sending on-chain bitcoin? The “wallet” tab only treats lightning transactions
2- can you manage your node via nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5
3- can you migrate your channels to another platform if nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm goes out.
Ok perfect, installation went super smooth!
I saw that in the “node” menu you can deposit on-chain bitcoin to open channels. I however haven’t seen anywhere intel the “wallet” menu where you can send on-chain bitcoin.
How do we go about sending on-chain bitcoin?

What is installed on the hardware? How much space is required?
Pretty happy and bullish on the new wallet Vultisig.
It’s not a wallet for Bitcoin management but it’s a good vault for Bitcoin and most of your Alts. No seed phrase.

Not sure what you can use with Umbrel or Start9 because themselves are pretty restrictive.
If you have a home lab the community goes with Frigate usually.

I think your anger is making you missing the point. I mentioned “you can self custody after if you wish”. That means you can use cold storage.
The point is that Bitcoin is a store of Value, it’s an asset. Bitcoin won’t give you any more Freedom except financial freedom with its hedge on inflation and devaluation of the monetary system.
You could put your fiat under your mattress and no banks or government would be able to take it if they don’t know you have it. Same thing with Bitcoin in self custody. The only difference is that Bitcoin will gain value and fiat won’t.
I think these Bitcoiners got to your head mate. The same ones being paid in Fiat by YouTube and Twitter, being sponsored, telling you you need a calculator made of titanium with NASA protection when all you need is a pen, paper and dices. The same ones you are zapping because they post pictures of their abs and are barely 21ys old.
