gimme the loot!

Somehow I feel like these points were brought up and discussed in recent past and people settled on not giving that client any more attention.

The only difference this time is the greater adoption of this client because a few interested parties are talking up their book. You see key people signal their use of it and the rest slowly fall in line. I caught myself before doing the same. I knew better too.

The product is a great experience compared to how nostr is supposed to work. Fast which is a huge benefit for those coming off centralized platforms as they will feel no strange behavior. Maybe it may help bridge people into nostr, but no one is going to leave that experience and use other clients if the overall experience suffers.

I understand the importance that nostr must win and to do so the onboarding and overall experience has to be flawless. But in doing it in this way, it ruins the essence/spirit of nostr and what it stands for.

Happy holidays! Is the 8 panel screen version available? They all seem to have 7 on the website

Nice! 🤙

Is that orange piece facing the wrong way? Looks like the power cable would line up and be held in the keeper on the bottom left if it was on the other way

Haven't explored all the functionality yet, but it is definitely a great product and gives comfort that accounts can't be hacked. I have it setup with KeepassXC too.

Eventually I want to setup ssh with it.

Highly recommend getting a backup key in case the first one fails.

The quality is substantially worse than Aliexpress. I did one order and will never buy from Temu again. Almost as if the stuff sold on Temu couldn't pass to be sold on Ali.

They're the only ones dumb enough to get caught. It is systemic.

Would be awesome if nostr, meshtastic, and reticulum/Nomad Network could be integrated together. Meshtastic and reticulum pushing messages to nostr as either a fallback or emergency measure.

Difficult to recognize it when you're being pulled along by the same strong current everyone else is too. There are too many distractions and things deemed important by society that your perspective is narrowed because the majority of what you consume and allow to pass through you biases your reality. It feeds into the idea that you are a part of that collective and that is the "norm".

Realizing that you're in this situation unless you observe or talk with someone outside the system, take the time to question or think about reality, or have experienced something that shakes you outside the norm, seems rare. The system appears to be designed so well to keep you there.

Hard to break free from and isolating if you cannot find like minded people who understand your perspective or have strong willpower to resist getting drawn back in. Unless you have good resources, supportive people, or are really lucky, there will probably be a part of your life still captured by that system. Varying levels of free.
