'If you're lonely when you're alone, you're in bad company.' - Jean-Paul Sartre -

Europe incompetent leadership has, for the last 10+ years take the Union into a path of economic crisis, the inflation is unbearable for the low income class. Add to that the open doors inmigration policy for ilegals and the rampant increase of crime, which is a snow ball effect (bad economies implies increase in crime, specially the violent type).

The low income class can't migrate to a safer country with a healthier economy easily but the wealthy does, and they are doing it in large numbers.

Did you ever read it?

If you haven't, here it is:

#### Universal Declaration of Human Rights ####

***Article 19***

"Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers."

>Most "developed" countries are ignoring it, I assume most of its citizens don't know about it, spread the voice

It seems fine on Primal. To the best of my knowledge, I think I've set it up correctly. Thanks for your help on this 🙏

This happens with few nip05 providers that block TOR as well, it could be your case of you are using it.

Amethyst is the ideal client in terms of security, but not all relays are pro privacy.

I had coinos,io as my nip05 and changed due to the fcat that is showing red and this could cause undesirable complications.

You can use a friendly privacy nip05 provider like nostrcheck.me , you can get more than one with your npub, you won;t get any issues because of that. Once you change it probably will show verified again, if you are in full privacy behind TOR

it's just going to get worst, add to that the fact that USA weaponized it's currency and is being ditched by the Global South

I would say adoption. TOR has a bigger user base, I2P is excellent, TOR , IMO is the next best thing.

Using TOR for LN⚡ is tricky, specially with mobile apps, to send sats you are good, but if someone is sending you a payment and your app is in the background or closed you will not receive any payments.

If you are so concern that you need to hide your IP address from other LN⚡ nodes and Electrum servers, a decent VPN that does not KYC you and that you can pay with BTC could help better, Mullvad and iVPN are two recommended options.

study chain analysis and you will understand more in dept why

give you a hint.

you have an address with 0.02,another one with 0.02, another with 0.03, another with 0.03, you pay someone 0.09BTC.

The wallet will take all 0.1BTC and return you the difference, 0.01

Chain analysis now knows you had those 4 addresses and all transactions ever done with those 4 addresses... That is why silent payments is so important, currently only Bluewallet and Cake Wallet supports it, soon more will do so.

nostr:nprofile1qqs9ajjs5p904ml92evlkayppdpx2n3zdrq6ejnw2wqphxrzmd62swspzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuvrcvd5xzapwvdhk6qgdwaehxw309aukzcn49ekk2qghwaehxw309aex2mrp0yh8x6tpd4ehgu3wvdhk6ynf30t is half way there, but it lacks an option to let the note to be seen by everybody but allowing only the mentioned ones to reply, it will be perfect to have who can view and who can reply separated.

I am wondering if the protocol allows it at all?

That feature is useful, I switch to #0xchat from time to time because of that feature, posting a note to a specific group of people, but having a note nobody can reply, priceless!

inevitable, the mass adoption was always ment to be this way.

Question is, What will the X generation that is loaded with Bitcoin 10 years from now, most of them will be in their 60s at retirement age...

on a desktop? use a web browser like Brave with iris.to for a better user experience

on an Android mobile? use #Amethys

on an iPhone...errr.... 404

and criminals do care, you are here, you are presumed to own Bitcoin, hence, you are a target for cybercrime, the more you do to improve your opsec the better

decentralized social network. Now add hard money (BTC) to it for payment of content and services. nowadays, nothing compares

Thanks for sharing your thoughts,

I don't think that to be the case, reason why didn't mention opsec security (a fly to safety as the bankster boss stated, a couple of weeks after an ETF for ETH...) there are few of those cryoto currencies that are POW and quite safe from network opsec point of view, and the ones that follow the new POS (the irony of that acronym always makes me smile) is not cheap neither, for them to be reliable and profitable they need a very good setup, normally AWS to avoid losing money, and the opsec side is quite safe as well as many years of operation has proven, as is the case for the number two by market capitalization.

Yes, now consider one for LN⚡

Centralized known if out of USA: Wallet of Satoshi (WOT)

Custodial known to be safe, requires a bit of know how (outside of USA): Phoenix Wallet

If in USA, AQUA could be a good option, known to be safe, FOSS, fees are a bit high but the user experience was build thinking on adoption of new users

Build up to self custody over time, take your time

A good source of information
