Its not even the taxbase. The motivator is to keep labor operating to drive commerce, exports, and GDP.
The push for immigration of refugees is to fill in where population growth has declined and have cheap easy to buy vote makers to rally as cogs in the machine. Its a weird abstract slave system.
Thunder is NOT sending bitcoin in this context with Drivechain. Its sending a separate asset
That just allows sending tokens of that type through a lightning network
It can be with atomic swaps or a trusted intermediary, neither of which exist today. There may be other solutions as well, but the inherent drive chain design does not address and by default each side chain via drive chain is its own encumbered token.
What are your thoughts on nostr:npub180cvv07tjdrrgpa0j7j7tmnyl2yr6yr7l8j4s3evf6u64th6gkwsyjh6w6 ‘s argument that Drive Chain is necessary to scale bitcoin to the masses?
Drivechain doesnt scale Bitcoin. It enables sidechains constrained by miners and tokens on one Drivechain are not compatible with another. This is the same fundamental limiting factor of Fedimint and Ark and other sidechains like Liquid. Moving from one to another to transact takes a minimum of 2 onchain tx or some form of atomic swap or trusted intermediary

How difficult is it to guess the rest of the letters in that private key to result in that public key?
Buy early, and buy late. Avoid buying right now at harvest season.
This is my experience as well. People zap low effort memes and porn more than open source projects. Most visibility of open source goes towards popular clients with high viz. Code is invisible to most and needs more marketing, which reminds me that I still need to find time to write up my howto on integrating with nodeless using serverless, or basic nostr bots.
I will likely install without hypervisor. Can you elaborate on why you think that adds flexibility
I currently have 4 nodes. 1 is a RPI4 4GB, the others are 8GB. The 4GB one is running MyNodeBTC and the others running Raspibolt. Most also running Nodeyez on top. Two of the nodes have UPS as does all the networking gear for stability.
This month I will be building a new node using refurbished Dell Optiplex for stability, performance and expandibility. Will migrate key economic functions to it. Some pi nodes will be converted to pruned nodes so I dont have to upgrade their drives this year or next (they all have 1TB SSD). Others will be decommissioned and probably repurposed into another project.
Complete agreement. The Elements project is open source, even has a tutorial on spinning up an instance.
As for Liquid, the only semi viable thing ive seen built on it is Raretoshi for tokens tied to metadata that references ipfs hashes for images.
#Nodeyez has a fun panel that exhibits art from Nodeyez and will switch through different creators automatically
Generating Seeds with Dice

Originally written in 2020. While firmware changes have occurred since then, and Cobo should be swapped for the newer Keystone, the same approach is valid.

Awhile back I migrated the articles I wrote and posted on Medium to a github repo with MIT license. Also makes it good for letting people open issues for corrections, tracking updates over time and if I wanted to, I could sign commits.
