Its a sidechain built on Elements that supports confidential transactions, faster blocktimes, and asset issuance. Funded by permissionless peg-in, and supports peg-out back to native BTC

Proponents of Drivechain ignore its existence. Unless Liquid grows, theres not a use case for Drivechain

The censors gonna keep censoring to hide the truth, but we gotta get this info out to the masses

yeah its horrific whats happening now, and in the past. as a race we just keep killing each other. lot of misallocation of potential

not necessarily. The bots im working on now are mostly reactionary. But in time ill probably join those that are building indexers and analysis. I think the best course of action is to struggle through the poor ux, populate communities, and keep asking devs for more specific tools/actions

While WWI and WWII and other wars and conflicts were happening, people were still going to work, school, bribing politicians, etc. Its really just a part of everyday life following orders to kill in the name of the Rothschilds and Rockefellers.

My TV has been showing signs of wanting to die for some time now. I usually have to wait upwards of 10 minutes after turning on for it to stabilize the graphic glitches. And one of the HDMI ports has fubar sound. Crazy thing is that its only 13 years old now and these issues began before it was even 10 years old

A few years back I thought about replacing it but kept putting it off. I am getting increasingly tempted though but would need to figure out what to do with the current tv. Recycle? Use for Nodeyez?

Theres also the matter of cost. I remember spending over $1600 on this one. Thats an average cost of over $10/month over lifetime. The idea of buying on credit isnt appealing, but counterbalanced with potential QoL improvements. And Id have to sort out what all this OLED, QLED, Neo LED etc means..

Analysis paralysis... likely wont change anything till next year

LSPs address this, and again we end up with some centralizing forces. In the end we still end up with most being custodial.

I am certain > 95% of payments i make goto custodial accounts

That big jump in large part came from Sat advertising via Satograms (https://satogram.xyz) which began around then, as well as developers testing and expanding the concept.

Recent BoostZapper commits over the past week. I still feel like it needs a better name.

What it is: A bot/service that monitors an event per user, and based on content of replies or boosts (event reference) can send a reply and/or Zap automatically. Useful for rewarding engagement.

Thinking about Bitcoin. I want to get more books. Ive bought a few over the years and after reading typically pass on to friends, people at meetups, etc.

Looking at my bookshelf, Ive only got 21 Lessons by Gigi remaining. But its a super short and easy read that encapsulates bite sized chunks on topics that tie into Bitcoin, Economics, Technology without getting super weighty in any given area.

For those of you that have put Lowery on a pedestal for Softwar, I implore you to read something more cohesive like 21 Lessons.

If youre looking for a weekend read, try the Bitcoin Standard (The Fiat Standard is a nice followup). For some hypothetical fiction futurism written in the past, read the Sovereign Individual or The Mandibles.

Today I will be rereading the Bitcoin whitepaper.

Good morning everybody that sees this note!

im joking, but really we should be doing this to let pets try to communicate with nostr

im training my fish Jerry to use nostr by having him swim in front of a light sensor attached to an arduino that then pushes to my laptop over serial to a receiving program that converts to JSON event and sends to a relay.
