Walmart has yet to adopt tap to pay, we’re still so early when it comes to P2P bitcoin payments at the business level. I work for a small business, and want to provide the optionality for Bitcoin on an online purchase. I might be a wee bit early, but I will still forge ahead as I personally am seeking out Bitcoin payment opportunities for business that provide the option or for Bitcoin only business. When I do get the opportunity to do so whether it’s on chain or lightning 99% of the time it’s been a fantastic experience. Actually, walmart has tap to pay, but only using their system in their app. Left my wallet in my car a few months back, and did some fast googling in the dairy section, lol.
You are 100% right on bitcoin. Been trying to get my small partnership I work for to A) put bitcoin on the balance sheet & B) accept it as payment. Both unlikely. Partners have deep fiat mindsets, and IT thinks ‘crypto’ is a dangerous liability 🙄
