someone stole my favorite jacket yesterday that I had immediate rebought after losing it several years prior. I'm upset as I'm struggling to find the exact one again online since I bought the original in 2019 and my replacement in 2022. I'm legitimately upsett because I love that jacket 😔
GM Nostr. Decided to watch Ocean's 11 (with Pitt and Clooney) last night after not seeing it for a few years. I had always enjoyed the movie and read a /r/movies thread on my way home about it praising it for it's rewatch-ability, so thought why not watch it tonight. Thoughts revisited:
-I had forgotten what Clooney looked like without his silver fox hair
-the soundtrack compliments the movie perfectly
-still gives me a desire to go to Vegas
-holds up as a great movie to just sit, watch and be entertained by it's relative over-the-topness and star-studded cast just being stars

Excellent read and another book I'll recommend to people to gain a better understanding of technology in our world and opening our minds to, as Jeff said best "what if the natural order of things was permitted?"

Painting and drawing as an art. I have zero skill when it comes to both of these. I had to take a few classes as well for my degree (bachelor of fine arts) and it was incredibly frustrating. not being able to create "art"
I don't know why it's a big deal but I'm happy that people are excited about this
