All my friends were with their moms. Their dads. Their families.

Exchanging gifts.

Giving & receiving love.

Meanwhile…

Every. Single. Fucking. Xmas.

I was alone & lonely.

No mom.No dad.No fucking family.

No shitty presents.

No love.

Just me.

Sitting alone in a nearby trash McDonald’s…

crying.

Without money.Without food. Without warmth.

That leaves scars.

Anyway…

Today I feel proud & deeply grateful.

Because on this very day

I built my own family.

A real one.

A loving one.

And today I get to create an epic day for my daughter…

so she never has to experience what I did.

That’s healing.

That’s breaking cycles.

That’s real wealth.

A spontaneous kitchen experiment that turned into a surprisingly yummy cake — sharing the recipe below 👇🌻

🧁 Vegan Green Banana Spinach Cake — Recipe

Ingredients:

• 2 ripe bananas

• 100 g fresh spinach

• 140 g flour

• 60 g starch (tapioca, cornstarch or potato starch)

• 70 g sugar

• 3 tsp baking powder

• ~100 ml water

• pinch of salt

• cinnamon (optional)

Instructions:

1. Blend bananas, spinach, sugar and ~80 ml water until smooth.

2. In a bowl, mix flour, starch, baking powder and salt.

3. Pour in the green mixture and stir gently (don’t overmix).

4. Fill into a silicone baking mold.

5. Steam-bake or bake at 180°C for 20–30 minutes (Ninja Speedi Steam&Bake works perfectly).

6. Let it cool completely, remove from the mold & enjoy 💚✨

🇩🇪 Grüner Bananen-Spinat-Kuchen — Rezept

Zutaten:

• 2 reife Bananen

• 100 g frischer Spinat

• 140 g Mehl

• 60 g Stärke (Tapioka, Mais- oder Kartoffelstärke)

• 70 g Zucker

• 3 TL Backpulver

• ca. 100 ml Wasser

• Prise Salz

• Zimt (optional)

Zubereitung:

1. Bananen, Spinat, Zucker und ca. 80 ml Wasser cremig mixen.

2. Mehl, Stärke, Backpulver und Salz mischen.

3. Die grüne Mischung zugeben und kurz verrühren (nicht übermixen).

4. In eine Silikonform füllen.

5. Bei 180°C 20–30 Minuten backen oder auf Steam&Bake garen.

6. Komplett auskühlen lassen, aus der Form lösen & genießen 💚✨
