Excellent! We used to have a very large Burr Oak in the front of our property. A few local and state groups would collect some acorns from the tree every so often to plant them elsewhere. The acorns were huge, very unique and fun to look at. Sadly that tree died about ten years ago. I believe this was the only Burr Oak on or near us as I haven't found others. I think I'll do what your husband did and plant a new one, or fifty. Future generations need to enjoy the shade of a Burr Oak.

Solid 4. I'm not into tattoos(for me),piercings(for me) or cruises so I guess I need to go skydiving.... Really, going on a cruise doesn't seem like it belongs on this list. Unless maybe gong on a cruise into an active war zone perhaps?

The Bridgeton Covered bridge is the longest covered bridge in Indiana. The original bridge was built in 1886 and was burned down by arsonists in 2006. Local farmers and craftsmen donated the trees for the timbers and rebuilt the bridge. #grownostr #festival #coveredbridge

I'm curious what problem this is attempting to solve that isn't solved with MQTT and Sparkplug B protocol. Is it just a proof of concept to send data via relay? Again, you can bridge MQTT servers to replicate this. Just curious if I'm missing the point.

#nostr seemed really quiet for me over the last couple of days. I just noticed that all of my follows were somehow deleted. That sucks... Working to build up my list again. I'll need to keep a closer eye on that as I'm not sure how that happened. I do use several different clients,maybe one had a bug...

Yesterday I had to wire some earnest money to a seller since they don't use anything to make it easier and weren't interested in learning. I had to visit my bank to complete the #wiretransfer. It took an hour plus travel time and cost me $25 for the service. I'll need to complete another wire transfer which will total $50 in fees and at least two hours of my life for the balance due when we settle the deal. This morning I transferred over 4x value that the wire transfers will be, I did it from my desk, it took around 15 minutes to settle and it cost me the equivalent of $1.65 in #fiat. It is so obvious that #bitcoin is better than banking and its not even close. #learnbitcoin

I wouldn't call it "cold" but it has been in the 50s at night. Several groups of these were found today in various stages from fresh to dried and black to dark ground in color. Several groups were found growing around maple and shagbark hickory tree roots. Other groups were on much older dead logs.
