I noticed a weird shift in me. I noticed differences when I say:
- "I'm spending my #sats", it means spending fractions of #Bitcoin and it's super acceptable in my spirit. You have to spend(aka consume) to live anyway, so why not bless another merchant who clearly desires it. [I honestly desire that as well myself, and that alone is a story for another day...]
- "I'm spending #Bitcoin". I'll probably never say that, because the #sats denomination grew on me quickly and it feels like the USD to Americans, or the Euro to Europeans. It's a simple currency denomination.
- However, if someone else says or hears someone saying "I'm spending (my) #Bitcoin", it automatically means to them that it's foolish to do so because it's considered"selling" said π½. Selling is bad bad π€. BAD Bitcoiner. Bad. π
Even my own wife understands #Bitcoin as a savings technology (only), even though she clearly knows how to send micro payments via Apps on her phone...
I'll end with this: some of us already live in the future (Bitcoin standard), where we do everything we can to price (value) our time and energy in the best money on Earth, and some of us still wrestle with the idea that the USD is the World Reserve currency and may stay that for a while... ππ¬
