Agreed Martti.

Lists:

The best feed solution in my view is user-created Lists in standard chronological order. This is how we escape the need to sort content by X, Y or Z that can be gamed.

Profiles:

When we visit someone's profile, then it makes sense to sort their notes by either date, reposts, zaps or likes. In this instance every note 'competes' with notes from the same account.

Zaps:

Highly useful as quick tips. The zap counter may be useful but there are risks that it is gamed further on since the monetary benefits from gaming a sorting mechanism are huge.

Reposts:

Indicator of content that people are willing to share in their feed. If the content is false then the reposter may take a reputation hit.

Likes:

Basic feedback mechanisms for small-medium accounts. 10 likes can remove 10 'yup' from the feed. Artists and creatives can compare the number of likes between their own posted content and get an idea of what the followers like most.

I can zap and tip others, but I can't zap or tip you Vitor after the new update.

I could zap and tip Vitor before, now I get this same error message as Daniel above.

Cool feature Vitor.

Alas, when I hold the zap, my phone selects the mininal keyboard that contains only digits but no commas or space. Changing the keyboard settings doesn't make any difference.

I can still use the feature, it's just that I can only add one amount, not three.

What helped me to gain focus in my youth was creating art, playing guitar, meditation, programming, reading, writing and learning to juggle. Juggling is very useful for improving the focus. Whatever it is we have to find the activities that we respond best to.

Government power and fiat money are ultimately backed by perception and perception alone.

When the public perception turned against Ceaucescu, the military turned on him as well.

This is why governments wage a war against perception; truth is their greatest enemy.

Nostr is largely populated by bitcoiners who are typically knowledgeable liberty advocates who already understand many of the negative processes in the world.

Combine this with less reach toward normies, and there is less incentive to spread news here and inform regular people of what is happening.

Then I'd assume the Dunbar number plays in; smaller crowds are more personalized crowds. As a result people here at Nostr share more private, face-to-face type of comments and content.

Zaps, reposts, comments and likes all have their use case as feedback mechanisms.

10 likes reduces the feed clutter by replacing 10 'yup' responses. Not everyone wants to engage in small talk or to wade through tons of small talk responses in their feed.

No need to remove feedback mechanisms just because some person don't see the use case.

You'll have the means in a few years. 15-30 minutes practice per day is still a good exercise until you have more time.

If you were to pick up one of your instruments tomorrow, what would you pick first?

Ah cool. Flutes are hard in my opinion and the clarinet has an elegant sound.

Your avatar has a metronome feeling, did you play drums by any chance?

Heh, perhaps some day.😄

I also have to accept that I can't do everyrhing at once.

I just play at amateur level, I have an acoustic Yamaha guitar, haven't played electric guitar in ~10 years since the neck broke on my last one.
