Growing up I rejected the social norms by a gut feeling at first. School was not a place where I felt at home. I would rather spend time in the woods, climbing rocks, reading, drawing, writing, programming or gaming. I learned early on that I was never going to be happy among the normies and went full steam ahead on my own path. What matters over time is balance, truth and integrity. These are found in crafting our own path and staying true to our values. The liberty compass is the best guidance.
March has been a pleasant surprise since I have sold two of my scifi 3D helmets without almost no marketing or visibility. 🧡💜✨️
After spending two months of 3D modeling, texturing, problem solving and design work on the helmet it is rewarding that other artists want to use it in their own projects and are willing to pay the modest $20 (699,998 sats).
I actually only receive ~67% of the price after tax and hosting commission - a bitcoin 3D marketplace could provide better visibility for quality products (signal vs noise) and lower cost of hosting.

You are promoting a false causality claim:
That Twitter is somehow being upheld by a few Nostrians that use both channels. That's not even plausible by a long stretch.
If all here on Nostr abandoned Twitter 100%, Twitter would function just as well without us. They would barely notice that we are gone.
I am at the point of puking at sectarianism.
Sorry to hear, sounds like severe mental imbalance from their part. The positive aspect is that they will segregate themselves into groups that no rational or ethical person pays attention to.
You do you. What communication channels other people use is none of your business and nobody needs to explain themselves to some communication channel purist.
Twitter is not 'enabled' because some nostrians use multiple communications channels.
Promoting the use of Nostr is great.
Demonizing non-conformists is unethical and unacceptable.
Agreed.
I will add that I have no expectation of a conscious AI in the near century, but keeping it open is best regardless.
If the mindset that everyone should be their own bank makes sense to enough people, it won't matter that some percentages don't appreciate the point.
I think he refers to having the mindset of everyone being their own bank.
When sufficient numbers of people are their own bank, there are no fractional reserve banking customers, and hence that type of banking is outcompeted.
Central banks are outcompeted by Bitcoin over time: their printed tokens will be worth less and less against the world's only hard, neutral and non-printable money.
People adopting Bitcoin and being their own bank speeds up this process and ameliorates the harm of the transition period from fiat.
Yup. Central planning breeds monopolies and cartels. Government policies offset and distort natural competition by the use of taxes, subsidies and regulations. Over time these can be expected to favor big corporations that are in bed with government. Favors for favors.
The government in turn benefits from this arrangement. It allows the government to implement society-wide policies via the large corporations it controls. The greater the corporate reach - the greater the reach of government policy implemented by these corporations.
Large corporations thereby become extensions of government and gives the State absolute power over restricting individual liberties and enforce encompassing surveillance, while blaming the 'market'. Of course, the 'market' described above is centrally managed and rigged by the government.
This is an opportunity for the Nostr community to compile quality resources that can help make the transition to Nostr smooth for new users.
Right, Elon is obviously trying to push KYC identity verification upon users. It was expected that bots would be used as a pretext: problem - reaction - solution.
We can prepare for the migration by compiling quality Nostr resources that can be shared to make the transition as smooth as possible.
Fundamentals are always simple.

💯 Our time and resorces are finite. Our life energy is best spent on family, nature and those things that matter to us. Excess burdens makes no sense. A backpack that is light and selective is preferable.
I personally have no interest in pasting my nsec into someone's online service. I am also not interested in pasting it into a Google Chrome extension.
People that subscribe to others should be intelligent enough to evaluate if they are human or not.
There is a general drive by Elon to assume that everyone is an AI unless they pay him rent every month. As if governments that print money for free, or large corporations couldn't afford to pay for thousands of fake AI accounts every month.
Government is a monopoly, and thereby its political agenda is one-sided. That heterogenous approach is problematic in itself especially combined with forced taxpayer funding. Monopolized bias is likely rigid and system-preservational.
Private companies will often have their own bias and/or agenda, but due to competition we are likely to see several vectors of scientific inquiry in the free market, at least if the market is free'ish and isn't rigged by a legislative branch of government.
I can't remember a time when those lists were not here.
In general, I think those lists makes sense for accounts that have low engagement, it helps them to find individuals with similar ideas and ethics. Accounts with high engagement will just see a wall of avatars and that becomes noise for them.
