The true nature of censorship.

Probably nothing.

Just a 41% increase in the USD money supply (M2) between 2020 and 2022.

Bitcoin is the rational bet that it is likely preferable to opt out from clown world 🤡🌏 shenanigans.

Agreed.

An exception is when you are working as a freelancer it sometimes pays off to over-deliver. A client may ask for a certain amount of content but may change their mind and want more when they are offered quality extras. If a product developer sees a chance to sell more products they are inclined to do so as far as their budget allows.

The main path to controlling governments is via U.N. policy documents. In 1992, 179 nations signed the U.N. Agenda 21.

There is little chance for capital alone to influence governments that are ideologically driven.

That is also a flow of power, but much slower than the reverse.

When a government is animated by policy documents and ideology (such as the U.N. Agenda 21 + Agenda 2030), the ideological momentum of government is regulating corporations via beliefs in a climate emergency and will not likely accept any counter influence to that ideology.

Right.

First of all, I wonder what the benefits of the old 'financial elites' were.

They became wealthy in a heavily rigged system of monetary monopoly and moneyprinting, were real estate was used as an investment vehivle injected with ever inflationary money, pricing out younger generations and making it hard for young people to establish a family.

At least a high percentage of bitcoiners are adherents of individual liberties, free markets and property rights and vehemently oppose totalitarianism, communism and fascism.

On a bitcoin standard we can expect real estate to fall in price denominated in bitcoin, allowing families to build a home and raise children.

On a bitcoin standard, wealth is earned to a higher degree than before; no moneyprinting injecting the economy with false capital allocation.

Regarding distribution of resources, that comes down to free agency, knowledge and preferences. Bitcoin is the most fair monetary system we can possibly design. Equal playing rules for all with no special privileges. That is revolutionary. Certainly those who make a living out of theft and rigging markets will hate bitcoin.

Yes, although I would say that government control big corporations via regulations.

The big corporations remain big because they play ball with government ideology and policy. Otherwise they are strangled with an arsenal of regulations.

In most cases of surveillance and censorship, the surveillance pressure is exerted by government intelligence agencies upon corporations with the purpose of controlling public perception.

Most companies benefit from having happy, returning customers and goood PR. Surveillance and censorship makes a company less competitive versus a company without it - but only in an environment where government regulations are not discriminating or punishing the company that refuses to play ball with government directives.

All government power is based on public perception. That is why governments makes it a priority to always control the narrative, which requires government schools, regulating companies and social media.

Consise argument by Chris Freiman why equal distribution of resources is an impossible utopia.

----------------

"Imagine that we’ve achieved an equal distribution of resources. Then a singer begins selling tickets to her events. Lots of people buy them. The singer is now a billionaire and the distribution is no longer equal. Is the new distribution unjust?" / Chris Freiman

In recognition of the practical state of affairs i would say that the most interesting debate is defining natural rights and how they illuminate the moral case for individual sovereignty. Jurisdictions are not going away anytime soon.

We will have property rights for all and genuine economic justice, whether communists want it or not.

Where do natural rights come from?

A few of my basic assumptions:

1. Natural rights are inherent.

Ethical principles must preceed governments since we need those principles to evaluate if a government is legitimate or not.

It is clear that a government cannot objectively measure its own legitimacy or determine when/if it has transformed into a totalitarian state.

2. We rely on our reasoning to determine which ethical principles are aligned with life, liberty and prosperity.

Our reasoning capacity can only function as an extension of our sovereign existence qua free men and women. Free individual agency is an embodiment of decentralization; sovereign decisionmaking.

3. Every person must be assumed to be born free and sovereign. If this was not the state of things, slavery would  reign and no rights would exist. Under such circumstances any form of government would be illegitimate.

Since every individual is born sovereign, each person own themselves, their minds, decisionmaking and the fruits of their labor.

John Locke (1690):

"Every man has a "property" in his own "person". This nobody has any right to but himself. The "labour" of his body and the "work" of his hands, we may say, are properly his.

(Two Treatises of Government; book 2, chapter 5.27, page 130)

4. Since we own the fruits of our labor, we must be free to buy, own, transfer, sell and exchange our property as we see fit, hence free trade.

If you need the permission of a third party in regards to how you manage your property, your property rights have been abolished and need to be re-instated.

5. As we depend on communication to live, to invent solutions and improve our conditions, solve problems, error-correct and vocalize that which harms us or which may cause harm, we must have free speech in order to exist, prosper and to maintain individual sovereignty.

In conclusion, if any of these principles are undermined, the responsible government must be determined to be illegitimate.

Hello, I am Vahan Bego, an artist from Armenia currently residing in Poland. Sculpture is my true passion, but my artistic journey extends beyond as I explore various mediums like live performance, painting, and conceptual creations.

Drawing inspiration from the harmonies of music, I collaborate closely with bands such as #SweetNoise, #Mtvoid, and #Toolband. Guided by my brother, nostr:npub1rr654u0pp3dm0g65dzc0v2eft5frg7gre8u4wwxsvhyyhmc5qths50eeul , I found my way to #NOSTR

## Studio Insights:

Step into my studio as I unveil the intricate world of my sculpting methods. Delve into the rich background of my sculptures, each piece a testament to my artistic journey. Join me daily as I share glimpses of my creative process. This series of notes, "Proof of Work" will embody my belief in the transformative power of dedication and hard work.

## Vision for Art and Humanity:

In my artistic journey, I advocate for the fundamental principles that shape a progressive society. I firmly believe in the essential pillars of freedom of speech, unrestricted transactions, and open communication. Embracing decentralization in social media, I envision a future where creative expression flourishes without constraints. Moreover, I advocate for the separation of money from state control, fostering communities like this one as the bedrock for innovation and positive change. I believe that NOSTR paves the way for a future where art, freedom, and community intertwine to shape a brighter tomorrow.

The key point is that when these principles are taken to an extreme and divorced from any consideration of the common good or the social and institutional prerequisites for a stable and just society, they can lead to outcomes that are deeply problematic and that can create the conditions for more authoritarian and even fascistic forms of politics to take root.

Here's how this dynamic might play out:

If the principle of "don't aggress" is interpreted in a highly individualistic and atomistic way, it can lead to a view of society as nothing more than a collection of isolated individuals, each pursuing their own interests without regard for others. This can erode social bonds, undermine a sense of shared responsibility, and create a vacuum of meaning and purpose that can be filled by more authoritarian and collectivist ideologies.

Similarly, an absolutist conception of private property rights, without any recognition of the broader social context in which those rights are embedded, can lead to extreme inequalities of wealth and power, and a sense of disenfranchisement and resentment among those who feel left behind. This can create fertile ground for populist and nationalist movements that promise to restore a sense of belonging and purpose, even at the cost of individual freedoms.

Moreover, if the state is seen as nothing more than a "night watchman" whose sole purpose is to protect individual rights and property, it may lack the capacity and legitimacy to address collective challenges and provide the public goods and services necessary for a healthy and stable society. This can lead to a breakdown of trust in public institutions and a further erosion of the social fabric, creating openings for more authoritarian forms of governance to fill the void.

To be clear, none of this is to suggest that the principles of individual rights, private property, and non-aggression are inherently fascistic or that they inevitably lead to authoritarianism. Rather, the point is that when these principles are taken to an extreme and abstracted from the broader social and political context in which they are necessarily embedded, they can have unintended and dangerous consequences.

This is why thinkers in the classical liberal tradition, and more recently those associated with "state capacity libertarianism" and "liberal nationalism," have emphasized the need to balance these principles with a strong conception of the common good and a recognition of the positive role that effective and accountable government can play in securing the conditions for individual freedom and social flourishing.

Sounds like a chat GPT response packed with non-logical platitudes. In fact, many of Mike Brocks longer posts reads like an un-thinking GPT output. Will have to mute this nonsense.

You are assuming that's all a person does.

I think you need some rest to clear your mind.

I disagree.

It's a balance.

1. Truth and reality will win.

2. Many sacrifices will be made to get there.

3. We are in a fight. Yet writing about fighting is not the same as fighting. People determine how they can best fight based in their situation.

All of these are true at the same time.

We don't have to follow a checklist to include all of them all the time.
