Another option is to have a big package but not being aroused during a jump..

Good one. 😅🤣

Bitcoin is for individuals that are able to take a beating without stressing about it.💪

Thanks man, I fought for my life! 😄

I started playing some online chess recently. As a terrible chess player I was slaughtered in game after game, expectedly! The harder the challenge the more the allure.

One of my few wins was interesting (image above). I played as the white side and at this point in the game I had lost both my rooks and the opponent had a stronger piece lineup.

My strategy was to advance my Pawn from D6 to D7 and then the plan was to move my Bishop from F1 to H3, combining an attack together with my Queen placed at A4, toward his King. I was ready to sacrifice a few more pieces if nessary.

The idea played out well, perhaps due to my opponent being at a similar level as myself. I threatened his King and managed to take out both of his two Rooks, after which I could decimate his pieces step by step, with a couple of losses on my side.

This was a game that I thought I was on the verge of losing and it was stimulating to execute a comeback.

I didn't see any chess discussions here on Nostr, so here's an absolute noob posting, hoping to see interesting chess content from more advanced players.

Cheers!

Art tutorial for promo renders, part 1.

Eye-catching promos are essential when it comes to demonstrating the merits of a product. Showcasing how a 3D figure can be used for art concepts helps the viewer to conjure up their imagination and be inspired to create art.

Another dimension of promo art is informing the consumer about the product and visualizing what they can do with it.

In the example above I placed this female character in a Conan type of setting and adjusted her pose to a casual, reclined position, gripping the throne with her left hand. The underwear that I applied to her did not fit the character properly, due to it being from a different generation. This is a common issue.

I fixed the underwear problem in GIMP by first using the Free Select Tool to cut out a copy of the underwear to a separate layer. Then I used the Warp Transform Tool to nudge the pixels where I wanted them. Lastly I trimmed the selection and used both the clone tool and a general paintover to fix the areas that needed a rework.

Finally I needed to improve the lighting. I decided to light up the area to the left around the incense burner to increase the contrast and bring some life to the image.

I started by using the Free Select Tool to meticulously select the area I wanted to impact. After the selection was done I proceeded to brighten the area and applying a slight bloom effect.

In the last stage I like to use ON1 Effects for the final postwork since I'm not fully familiar with GIMP as of date. But any application where you can increase contrast, improve/change saturation, balance the levels sliders and apply a circular edge toning/darkening are useful. Nothing beyond the basics is necessary. Of course, never use tools that change the product you are demonstrating.

With applications like FilterForge you can design your own postwork process by connecting and micromanaging nodes where you can plug in user sliders. It may just render a bit slow at higher resolutions so that's an inherent limitation.

Thanks for reading. If you are a GIMP user feel free to comment with tips that you use in your postwork process. While I enjoy using other tools as well it is great to promote free and open source software like GIMP.

Heh, it was a learning experience.😄

I think my friend had just assembled a list of jokes that he thought were good and he didn't claim authorship for all of them.

But as the jokes were presented, there was an assumption that he was the author of the whole list.

We have to go by what we see and as a result we will draw different conclusions based on our information.

A bit strange that the teacher assumed that you hadn't authored it yourself.

A short anecdote.

I remember back in the late 1980'ies, I used to connect with BBS's and had online chat with friends. One guy used to write jokes and share with me and I would also share him the jokes I had written.

Then one day in class, another friend of mine who was also into BBS's, shared a list of jokes from our mutual online friend, and he read them out loud.

When I heard that one of my jokes was included, I mentioned that I wrote it (I didn't expect people to find it that funny).

The hilarious backlash was that some angry person started saying that I was trying to steal the credit for a joke that I myself had written some weeks before.

The moral of the story is that information is local. What people hear first will often impact their perception.

Some thoughts while reading John Locke's "Two treatises of government". Let's dive in.

".. it being reasonable and just I should have a right to destroy that which threatens me with destruction." (Chapter 3.16)

Here Locke identifies the practical necessity of evaluating and responding to threats. He is primarily considering the threats of an abusive government.

".. and hence it is that he who attempts to get another man under his power does thereby put himself into a state of war with him." (3.17)

This is real talk. Locke is using logic to identify when a person or government is at war with a person. The moment this happens is when one the aggressor seeks to make another person dependent and place then under their power.

Locke continues:

"For I have reason to conclude that he who would get me into his power without my consent would use me as he pleased when he had got me there, and destroy me too when he had a fancy to it; for nobody can desire to have me in his absolute power unless it be to compel me by force to that which is against the right of my freedom -- i.e. make me a slave." (3.18)

Locke brings pure dynamite here by invoking only his reasoning. Why would a voluntarist want complete control over you? He wouldn't. A voluntarist leaves you alone, except if you abuse children, but that's a violation of consent - only adults can fully consent.

The voluntarist therefore is not a threat to any honest, moral man. But the authoritarian, he that seeks "absolut kontroll",, that is a man who is not going to respect your liberties.

Let's return to Locke:

".. so that he who makes an attempt to enslave me thereby puts himself into a state of war with me." (3.18)

Locke expands:

"This makes it lawful for a man to kill a thief who has not in the least hurt him, nor declared any design upon his life, any farther than by the use of force, so to get him in his power as to take away his money, or what he pleases, from him;

Because using force, where he has no right to get me into his power, let his pretense be what it will, I have no reason to suppose that he who would take away my liberty would not, when he had me in his power, take away everything else.

And, therefore, it is lawful for me to treat him as one who has put himself into a state of war with me -- i.e. kill him if I can; for that hazard does he justly expose himself whoever introduces a state of war, and is aggressor in it." (3.19)

My reflections.

Lockes logic is extraordinarily true when applied to Agenda 21 and Agenda 2030. These policies requires the State to implement CBDC's, digital ID and social credit scores. When these are implemented, that regime is, following Lockes reasoning, in a state of war against every individual, since it seeks absolute power over every individual. Logic together with history informs us that such power will be abused -- it is at most a matter of time until it is abused.

The worst criminals are expert at gaining a high rank in a totalitarian society: they have no values and can therefore parrot every official doctrine of a regime with the convincing belief of a trained actor, regardless how immoral or absurd that doctrine is. We know therefore that the worst humans will always end up leading a totalitarian society. Therefore, a totalitarian society is by its own essence of absolute control, at war with liberty.

💯

Freedom is about defending individual liberties and private property rights.

These are the foundational principles that build a world of sovereign individuals pursuing their own paths without harming the liberties of others.

The foundational principles of liberty hearken back to 1690 and John Locke; every person is born free, own themselves and the fruits of their labor.

Currently we are at 400 ppm CO2 outdoors.

If CO2 drop 250 ppm, down to 150 ppm, plants and animals die.

If CO2 increase 250 ppm, to 650 ppm, tree and plant growth increase resulting in greater ogyxen production.

Climate alarmism stems from the UN Agenda 21, signed by 179 nations in Rio de Janeiro in 1992. It is a core ideology of the deep state.

First off, I reject your false projection.

Secondly, hate speech laws are tools designed to help the government jail people based on opinion. Historically they are called blasphemy laws.

That is *not* compatible with liberty ideals. Hate speech laws is a sign that we live in a 1984 society.

What hate speech laws do is to create a broad category of *illegal speech* into which a government can insert anything that runs contrary to its ideological dogma.

If you don't want blasphemy laws then we better abolish blasphemy laws before your opinions are defined as blasphemy by the government.

"The mob" is regular people saying no to men beating up women in violent sports. The CBDC side (Kamala & co) is losing votes over their lack of ethics.

We "the mob" keep critiquing corruption, central banks, CBDCs, the UN Agenda 21 and so on. Business as usual.

The musculature is radically different between men and women. That is not trivial.

Female-only sports is necessary and will npt go away. Women cannot compete physically with men.

Gender is not an understanding.

We are either born XY or XX.

However, we might need a "cyborg" or "body modification" category in the distant future.
