Always a nice virtual museum.
I share a bunch of nostr stuff on mastodon, bluesky, and twitter. Recently I got feedback from nostr:npub1qrufvu49ef3v8f9gn4rz98a96xjclfgxgp3srwu5t66vx224m3qqc5afxp who pointed out weβve got a bit of a NASCAR problem with njump. That is when someone sees that page they donβt know what to do or which nostr app to pick. The highlighted one is for a native app which people who know nothing about nostr donβt have. This is a good problem to have, we have people finding nostr because of content. We should do some user testing to improve the UX for converting people from a single njump page to being a sustained nostr user.

# Embracing Traditional Comfort: The Health Benefits of Sleeping on a Shikifuton and Kakefuton
## Introduction
In our search for better sleep and health, sometimes the answer lies in traditional practices. One such practice is the Japanese custom of sleeping on the floor using a shikifuton (a thin mattress) and a kakefuton (a comforter). This minimalist approach to bedding can benefit both your hygiene and back health. I have been sleeping this way for about two years and prior I had a lot of back weakness and discomfort from sleeping on a memory foam mattress. After just a week or two I found I had no back pain and more energy from more restful sleep.
## Understanding Shikifuton and Kakefuton
**Shikifuton**: This is a thin mattress, usually filled with cotton, that is laid directly on the floor. Unlike the thick, spring-loaded mattresses common in the West, shikifutons are firm and provide even support to the body.
**Kakefuton**: This is the traditional Japanese comforter used in tandem with the shikifuton. It is lightweight, breathable, and designed to provide warmth without overheating.
## Hygienic Benefits
**Air Circulation**: One of the primary hygienic benefits of a shikifuton is improved air circulation. Elevated beds can trap moisture and encourage the growth of mold and mites. Floor sleeping, conversely, allows air to circulate freely around the bedding, keeping it dry and fresh.
**Easy to Clean**: Shikifutons and kakefutons are designed for cleanliness. They are easy to fold, store, and air out, significantly reducing the accumulation of allergens and dust.
## Back Health Benefits
**Firm Support**: The firmness of a shikifuton can be immensely beneficial for back health. It supports the natural alignment of the spine, potentially reducing back pain and promoting better posture.
**Muscle Strengthening**: Sleeping on a harder surface like a shikifuton can help strengthen back muscles, further supporting spinal health and reducing the likelihood of backaches.
## Tips for Transitioning to Floor Sleeping
**Adjustment Period**: If you're used to a soft bed, transitioning to a shikifuton might take some time. Start by using it for short naps or a few nights a week until your body adjusts.
**Appropriate Bedding**: Choosing the right shikifuton and kakefuton is crucial. Ensure they are of good quality and suit your comfort needs. If you are a side sleeper you may need to double up on the shikifutons if not using a tatami mat underneath.
## Conclusion
Switching to a shikifuton and kakefuton for sleeping can have notable benefits for both hygiene and back health. This traditional Japanese bedding encourages better air circulation, cleanliness, and provides firm support for your spine. If you're considering a change in your sleeping habits, the shikifuton and kakefuton might just be the key to a healthier, more restful night's sleep. With the added benefit of being able to use what was just a bedroom during the day for other uses.

Keep in mind when you do anything online the day soon when Artificial Super Intelligence (ASI) decrypts everyone's communications and judges you based upon them.
On a wholly unrelated note, have I mentioned how much I love A.I.? Well..I sure do! β€οΈππ«
Already here can do voice inflections too.
Good night! π€

Not even 1mil sats? Talk about just a taste. π€£π§‘
Nothing to see here.

Those solo long drives paid off for me catching up on podcasts.

I saw one on Craigslist for sale a few years ago. I regret not buying it. π€£
Seems a lot of unanswered questions about it for people to jump onboard so fast.
"To all the fellas out there with ladies to impress
It's easy to do just follow these steps
One
Cut a hole in a box
Two
Put your junk in that box
Three
Make her open the box
And that's the way you do it"

I just run a full node and lightening node I'm not too worried about one S9 preventing a 51% attack.
Seems like just using the electric and hardware costs to buy Bitcoin is better used than what an old miner will get you.
Is there a nostr.build for audio files (e.g. wav, mp3)?

I use to have this (sometimes bad) habit of just typing words into browser with domain extension to see if exists. Mostly would find a site or landing page. Now I do the same searching for podcasts of that name. Sure enough... usually is one. π€£
if you thought it somehow got better after the #snowden leaks, think again
"A WIRED analysis of leaked police documents verifies that a secretive government program is allowing federal, state, and local law enforcement to access phone records of Americans who are not suspected of a crime."

They just waited for the media cycle to pass. Been approving the same bills and funding for these programs ever since.
I was just thinking how many people realize who that is in picture. π€£
He has serious JOMO in SuperMax.
