I find it ironic that Bill Gates got so rich selling an OS that is vulnerable to viruses and malware and now he claims he is trying to save humanity from actual viruses. That wasn't on my clown world bingo card.

Can anyone explain or direct me to information on the effect of toggling each of the switches under each of the relays listed within Amethyst (screenshot attached)?

I've searched the web, GitHub, and YouTube so far but I am not really getting anywhere.

I see that if I toggle everything off for all relays and then switch the globe and the down arrow on for one of the relays that this then populates my client feed (I assume from the relay that was toggled on). I also assume that the up arrow controls whether I write to the associated relay when I post. Other than that I'm at somewhat of a loss.

I'd be interested to know too. Guess the Globe is for global posts. The magnifying glass for when you search to which relays will direct the query to, the people would be your Following list. But really, am bit clueless too.

Forget a moment about the characters and think of the technology. The line between real and artificial is getting blurred and blurred. There won't be long we, society under the influence of mass media, will be fighting, complaining, rooting, etc for fictional characters. Technology can mimic visual of real people, can mimic their voice and more. Today, likely the technology will be (or is) used to deconstruct or empower a real target person. In the future, they'll just create someone and play that on society.

Have you seen the bird in the Milky Way? Beyond the man in the Moon, the night sky is filled with stories, and cultures throughout history have projected some of their most enduring legends onto the stars and dust above. Generations of people see these celestial icons, hear their associated stories, and pass them down. Pictured here is not only a segment of the central band of our Milky Way galaxy, but, according to folklore of several native peoples of Uruguay, the outline of a great bird called Ñandú. Furthermore, Ñandú's footprint is associated with the Southern Cross asterism. In the foreground, in silhouette, is a statue of María Micaela Guyunusa, an indigenous woman of the Charrúa people who lived in the 1800s and endures as a symbol of colonial resistance. The composite image was taken in mid-April in Cabo Polonio, Uruguay, with the Atlantic Ocean in the background.
