So my opinion may be a little biased because I was born in Corsica and my family roots, including friends and relatives, have always been there.
For someone who wants to settle in Corsica, I would advise them to come and live there for at least a full year to at least experience life on the island during all four seasons.
What is certain is that many people come to settle here, so we must be rather welcoming. Life is generally more expensive there given that on an island there are both additional transportation costs and less competition.
It wouldn't be a problem if salaries were also higher, but on average they are lower than in other regions.
As a result, we often end up with retirees who come to live on the island. They earned their money elsewhere and come for the climate, the scenery, the sea, and the security.
In short, for me, it's a beautiful place, not to earn a good living, but to live well, especially if you want to live surrounded by nature between the sea and the mountains.
Perhaps an excellent destination for Bitcoin retirees who are discreet enough not to talk about it.
For me, it was a gift from my brother.
I rediscovered places I'd always known. It's really fun to film with a drone.
You just have to remember that afterward, you have to add a little time to capture the best moments.
As for the drone itself, nothing to report; only the batteries are at the end of their life. After almost three years of use, that's decent.
Later generations can film directly vertically, which is great for framing and posting directly to Nostr.
And finally, it's really easy to use; you can let go of the controls and the drone won't flinch.
Just be careful if you fly it from your boat; if there's a problem, it will return to its starting point, but in the meantime, you may have moved π€£
When the world is burning, you have to find your refuge, that place that disconnects you from your worries, or even that person who makes you forget everything else, otherwise we risk forgetting to live our lives.

Today, I've chosen to present the work of Jean Rubini, a cutler who gave a #blacksmithing demonstration.
The old-fashioned way: coal, anvil, and hammer.
In addition to his demonstration, he exhibited his Corsican knives, folding shepherd's knives and some fixed #knives.
The handles are made of goat horn, buck horn, or various Corsican wood species, such as olive, chestnut, or juniper.
Jean isn't ready for #bitcoin yet, but i will keep trying to convince it's not so hard to change !
