that's me building #GLOK on #nostr to help folks being safe out there

Hey Niel, what does Peatstr mean?

I tried both keto and carnivore even before the diagnosis, combined with prolonged fasting. That may have not helped actually, but hard to judge.

Now I'm not in ketosis but settled with a low-carb diet. When I feel I want carbs I have them but mostly my food is eggs, dairy (raw milk preferably, sheep and goat cheese), meat, lots of animal fat and olive oil, fermented foods (kefir, cabbage, sourcream and now i found fermented black carrot juice in a Turkish store), avocados and tomatos. But I also have some little fruits - either a banana or dried rasins, nuts etc. Occasionally a piece of good bread, or a cake but when I bake at home, I bake without flour or sugar.

I supplement but not daily, iodine in drops with selenium drops, vitamin D+K in drops. Shower in filtered water and drink filtered water with unrefined salt.I walk a lot in the sun, I'm careful about screen exposure especially in the evening.

I go to "sleep with the hen" and wake up early to catch the early sunrays.

And I do energy work with qi gong.

Sure! Try to find raw milk, go to a farm later afternoon, and if you live in EU, say you have many cats and need raw milk for them. They will know ;)

Needless to say pasteurization is not necessarily bad. It can be done in the traditional way, heating to 40°C for several hours, or quickly heating to 70°C which is the way it's done nowadays. Big difference in results.

Today, it's been almost 5 months that I stopped taking #thyroid medication and I want to celebrate!

My TSH, ft3, t4 are back to norm, vitamin D is normal, the only thing that is still going on is inflammation (aTG and aTPO) but both dropped to about 10% of the originally measured values.

Many women post 40 suffer #thyroid issues. THE DOCTOR TOLD ME IT WAS IRREVERSIBLE AND THAT I WILL HAVE TO TAKE THYROID HORMONES FOR LIFE. Well, duck that!!

AMA.

Hard to describe the taste of raw milk if you've never had it.

But imagine the difference between the taste of a starbucks coffee vs an italian espresso. Raw milk (RM) simply has a much fuller taste.

But that's not the entire story. It also does not induce intolerances, asthma and allergies like the high temperature pasteurized (PM) defattened white water which they sell as milk. Many people who consume store bought milk develop lactose intolerance, but don't show any issues with raw milk (after some adaptation).

It tested it on myself, with PM I have bad skin and digestive discomfort. None such issues with raw milk.

Here's some more cool facts about raw milk:

Raw milk can resolve infantile scurvy.

Calcium from RM is easier absorbed than from PM.

Carrier protein for folate is inactivated during pasteurization.

Vitamins D, B6 and B12 are poorly absorbed from PM. Heat also degrades vitamin A.

Lower levels of iodine in PM.

Minerals are bound to proteins for better assimilation but these proteins are are inactivated by pasteurization.

Lactobacilli are destroyed too, in RM they help mineral absorption.

Raw milk is vastly superior in building strong teeth and bones in babies, building immunity.

Graduating towards less phone usage.

Leaving phone outside of bedroom is step 1.

Step 2 is not touching phone after sunset.

To get there, I'm using night light all day long, and grey mode for less dopamine hits. But watching cute animal videos without color sucks. My pattern recognition without color is weaker too.

Step 3 will be a few hours of full op and then DND before finally going airplane mode all the time.

Well, it is a possibility. But the goal is ancient, preceding UK and USA, written in Torah way before those countries existed: "from the river of Egypt to Euphrates" is the promised land.

That project definitely is something interesting.

But let's not forget that at first it wasn't USA sponsoring the idea of Israel's state. They keep finding new sponsors, before US it was UK. Before them it was France.

That makes no sense. What would US win by melting trillions of dollars there, a military outpost in the middle east? US has plenty of those in the region. What else would be worth the investment?

Whereas looking the other way around, how much more interesting is for Israel to own US?

Woke up early today to a ZERO BULLSHIT FOOD MOOD.

Let's do a ZeroBS PINATELA & KESUTELA and ZeroBS Reese.cups.

Step 1:

I quickly hand-crafted a wooden spoon to a precise length to stir the contents in my blender (and never touch the blades). A piece of plywood, japanese saw, sanding papers, linen oil. I didn't have a sanding belt handy to make it pretty but it will do.

Step2: gradually grind nuts, coated with some mct oil and salted with a spoon of salt. Grind them slow in a powerful blender, with glass container ideally. Use the wooden spoon the help the mass to the knives. Add MCT by spoons, probably 3-5 tableapoons per 400g of nuts.

Ingredients: raw cocoa, MCT oil (pure C8), seasalt without added iodine, cashews or peanuts, a bit of erythritol in the cocoa version.

Step 3 will be my home-made NO BS Reese cups. The chocolate is ready, made it last night.

This is how it will look in the end. But the best is, no bs seed oils, no sugars, no unnecessary additives or preservatives.
