For those going to #chibitdevs this month on Thursday Feb 8, I’m going to be selling some tallow balm. It’s just grass fed/finished tallow, cold pressed olive oil, and (optional) essential oils. It works great as a face/body moisturizer without all of the chemicals and a little goes a long way. I’ll have 2 oz tins available for 21k sats in a few different scents or DM me for a custom scent.
Bugs are already coming out on Feb 1. 
2 weeks ago it was -30 with windchill. It is now 50 degrees and sunny. I’m picking up sticks outside, life is good.

A while back I bought some for $20. I knew it was overpriced but I’d rather overpay than put toxic chemical soup all over my skin and it was worth every penny. Then I started to learn how to make my own for way cheaper. I just think this market needs a little competition to bring the price down and get people more interested in trying it out.
Exactly. To be fair, tallow is expensive compared to sunflower oil but I see 2oz jars going for $20-30 a piece. Not sure if this would be long term sustainable but I’m thinking of about 20k sats or around $8.50 for 2oz to start. Like liquid Castile soap it’s pretty concentrated compared to traditional lotions that are mostly water so 2 oz would last longer than you think.

Just won another game of catan junior with my 9 year old daughter. She’s getting better, she only lost by 1 and was making good strategic decisions. 
Yes and keeps my hourly rate down and hopefully eliminates the insane fees I pay for solar panels and wind turbines to make things more unreliable.
Or abandon net zero and build out hydrocarbons in competition with nuclear making lots of abundant cheap energy but we’ll see what happens.
Illinois has the most nuclear in the US, but is insanely over regulated. That would be my guess why. Probably will be an opportunity for a company in the near future though. IL has insane net zero carbon policies so will be forced to add more nuclear or become like developing country with rolling blackouts. Mining can help provide bootstrapping income to build out this supply.
It’s usually hard for me to finish 12 oz of any stout but this one isn’t too sweet and has a lot of flavor. Doesn’t taste at all like 11% either.
