What an epic weekend in Nashville.
The energy, excitement, and innovation of this community reminds me of the early days of the internet in the best way possible.
Bands of Bitcoin and the nostr:npub1yfg0d955c2jrj2080ew7pa4xrtj7x7s7umt28wh0zurwmxgpyj9shwv6vg and nostr:npub1h8gzew8am6cezuq7cpjgudldra40hgnruqrqlsrqnxnzs5wjtczqztps02 concerts were absolute highlights of the weekend.

Perhaps what surprised and impressed me most about these musicians and builders was the lack of ego, creating a spirit of collaboration over competition.
This meeting of the minds might just change the trajectory of how we create and share music for years to come.
Leveraging technology to exchange value is a heck of a lot more fun and interesting than being exploited by centralized platforms in an algorithmic race to the bottom.
I started dipping my toes into Nostr and uploading tunes on Wavlake just a few short weeks ago, with little understanding and no expectations.
Now it’s clear that the paradigm is shifting rapidly, and incumbent platforms like Spotify could be rendered obsolete thanks to this motley crew of early adopters, artists, and builders.
Shout out to JL for inviting me up on stage for a spontaneous songwriting session. Jaw-dropping to see what you and your band came up with on the spot!

Wow. What an incredible few days it's been! From the nostr:npub1yfg0d955c2jrj2080ew7pa4xrtj7x7s7umt28wh0zurwmxgpyj9shwv6vg and nostr:npub1h8gzew8am6cezuq7cpjgudldra40hgnruqrqlsrqnxnzs5wjtczqztps02 concert, to the V4V panels, finshing with the bitcoin bands stage, a weekend I'll never forget. It was so great to finally meet all the people who have been supporting my music from afar. Though it was my first time meeting everyone in person, it felt like a reunion. I can't thank enough all the folks that have given me their time, support and a platform for my music. Shout out to Sam and Michael at Wavlake, Oscar and Nick at Fountain, Open Mike, Jim and Julie Costello. There's too many others to mention here, but you know who you are, thank you.
